In his defense he MEANT effortlessly attractive, so in that sense it’s also one of the best compliments I’ve received.5 -
(From a guy who didn't take car of any of his cars properly...)
"You're like my favorite classic car."
Bruh 😤5 -
You're a nice guy, you're just.... Weird 🤔....
I'm like, thanks.... There's worse things you could be4 -
“youre intimidating”6

My grandma used to say this when I was younger: "You have a pretty face to be a big girl."
My cousin told me once: "You're a cuter version of your mother." No offense but I never found my mom attractive. 💀 So, I was thinking, how much cuter?!
This last story isn't really a compliment but I figure it would suit getting a good laugh. There was a store I went to as a kid called, Superfresh. My mom always would have me get the most horrible haircuts. (Boyish haircuts or a mullet style) Anyways, we were leaving and the cashier called me "sir". 😂 At that point, I wanted to cry. Haha6 -

I'll let the guys defend their gender but the "intimidating" and "unapproachable" remarks is most often doled out to women who are competant in their career and leisure pursuits, reserved/introspective, contented in their own company and who are also afflicted with RBF 🙄
So unless you're an extrovert, consider taking all the above and being "intimidating" as an actual compliment....just with poor word selection 😉3 -
ive given out a lot of awful compliments in the past i think. but i always say "that's a compliment im complimenting you" right after so its all okay in the end3

"You're intimidating," he says. She thumbs the hammer back; for a moment, that click is the loudest sound in the room.4 -

There was a horrific show on a few years ago i think it was called the pick up artist. It was a show geared to show men how to pick up women. One technique was to give backhanded compliments to a woman to get her to engage and let her know you are interested but not gonna get all swoony.
I remember one of them was, your hair looks really good greasy......it was a god awful show lol6 -

While I was holding my youngest as a newer baby, my neighbor said to him.....”it’s a good thing you look like your dad”🙀😂
I don’t know if that’s the worst but it was funny.6 -

Ah yes, a show built around psychologically abusing and gaslighting women in an attempt to get in their pants. This show wouldn't have also happened to have a male co-host that dressed like he had murdered a bunch of black muppets, would it?
