    Hi, there I am back to MFP after losing 80 pounds and gaining it back plus more. I need to lose 115 pounds and need some accountability and encouragement. My goal is to focus on walking 5 days this week at least 45 mins. Just a start. Looking for friends to connect with and keep me going for the next 21 days. Any takers??

    The scale creeped up to 200.0 over the weekend but it’s back down today. I’m getting bored and want sweets but I am happy with the progress and I’m so close to 10lbs. I can’t stop now. I will have to buy some skinny cow at my next grocery run to satisfy this sweet tooth.

    @crystalsan726 - Great loss this week!

    @Leezy55 - a loss is a loss :smile:

    @motivatedsister - Great job! Next stop ONDERLAND :smiley:

    @SunflowerQueen36 , @JoanneAcevesMoss & @LMBelladonna - Welcome

    @kcd394 - that mini goal is in your reach! Keep up the great work.

    @Beka3695 - I am so impressed with your progress. You’re an inspiration.

    I know! @azkunk

    I really hope I see it come my next weigh day on Monday, BUT I know I typically do not see good losses in a row...no matter how on track I am deficit wise. But it should happen soon!!

    I'm down a little over 20 lbs since re-starting and as expected (based on the last time I lost weight) - I'm starting to see a change in how things fit. I used to wear scrubs primarily for work, but with a job change I wear more regular clothes now. I refused to buy a ton of clothes at my current size, so I basically wear the same outfits weekly. The monotony sucks, but it's helping me to see things slowly changing. No more muffin top, I've gone down in bra band size, tops are looser, and for the days I wear scrubs I've gone down in pant size - making progress.

    That’s awesome!

    I wear regular clothes to work but have been primarily working from home since March. I gained some weight pre-COVID but refused to buy new clothes and things got a little tight. Then I started working from home in yoga pants and gained some more weight. I go into the office every now and then and I am still not feeling much change in the fit of my clothes. I am closing in on 10lbs and I’m just wondering when I will notice a change ... maybe 15lbs.

    Hopefully you'll start to notice a change soon! I loved wearing scrubs to work, but in hindsight it is easy to see how the weight is able to creep up on you since there is so much "give" in scrubs. If I had been wearing regular clothes all this time I think I would have realized sooner just how much weight I had gained.

    It didn't help that outside of work (and because I was still breastfeeding) I was wearing yoga pants and loose tops that would allow me to whip out a boob easily. As we approach fall/winter I'll have to be mindful to not be fooled when I choose to wear leggings/sweaters regularly! Hopefully since I'm now watching the scale that won't happen, but I'll try to still fit in more clothes that don't have "give" to truly see what my body is doing.

    @motivatedsister - sounds like a good plan. I vow to wear more fitted clothes this winter too

    @dietingright - Welcome! Just check in regularly to keep yourself accountable and encourage others. Most of us post weekly stats on the day or our choosing. I turned 49 in May and my goal is to lose 50 ponds by my 50th bday!

    This week was kind of a roller coaster. I had free lunch Tuesday and it caused some serious water retention. That and being so mentally exhausted kinda caused me to slack off a little on healthy choices. So I had some treats this week, but to my credit I only allowed them in moderation. With my steps calories added in I still stayed in my calorie goals evey day. So it's a huge win to know I was able to moderate myself and have the treats, but still be able to achieve my goals.

    Last week: 189.2
    This week: 188.2

    Had a crap day yesterday. We had to put our sweet 11yr old dog down. We knew her days were short but that doesn’t make it easier. Today is a little better but there is definitely a big emptiness in the family.

    On the positive side, the scale was at 196.8 today which is below my mini-goal of 197 and officially puts my BMI under 35 and my weight loss above 10lbs. I will hold out until Friday to see if it sticks but just seeing the scale drop below 197 is motivation enough.

    8/31: 201.4 (BOO lol! Well didn't make it to ONEderland. It wasn't the best week ever, but it seems after a big loss I always have a very low loss the following week. Plus I think TOM is a contributing factor today. After pregnancy/breastfeeding my cycle still hasn't regulated back to normal. This is the first time it's actually shown up right on schedule since returning. Hopefully it's returning to normal now and I can get a better idea of how it effects my weight during/after.

    Congrats to those who have lost - you're doing awesome!

    Had a bit of a struggle this past weekend. Had a cookout with friends (Ribs and brisket and cornbread and drinks). Splurged a little as it was our wedding anniversary. Didn't lose this week, but didn't gain so 🤷‍♀️ I'm going to call that a win!

    Definitely a win! Everything in moderation otherwise it’s not sustainable. Happy Anniversary!

    Still a loss and you made it into the 150’s!!! Congratulations, that is still a great accomplishment. Are you getting close to goal. I imagine those last pounds are harder. Maybe you need a change in your exercise routine? Have you been tracking everything accurately?

    You got this? How is the tracking going? Work is tough for me too but luckily, I am still mostly working at home. When I do go in, I pack my food for the day and I won’t go to the cafeteria otherwise I will be tempted to go off track.

    That’s so exciting! I do the same thing and step on the scale at least 3 times if it seems too good to be true.
