Well, after a weight-loss "hiatus" I am back at it...but already got dressed this morning so I will check in tomorrow 😜...I have probably gained a pound or two, with birthdays, etc., ...no big worries tho'...hope you are all good?!!4

Now I guess on the surface it looks bad, but last week's scales were at my parent's house. I'm pretty sure that my scales weigh heavy. I have calibrated with the Judo scales in the past and I've got to around a ~2kg difference between mine and those (and those scales are properly calibrated, so it's definitely mine being out). I was vaguely hopeful that changing the battery would help, but judging from today's number's I'm going to assume that hasn't happened. And while I understand that weight fluctuates, I don't normally fluctuate that much. So next time I go to my parent's house I'll take my scales and see how much of a difference they weigh against each other and adjust my starting weight accordingly. However, in the mean time I have adjusted my goals going forward to more reflect this week's starting weight.
Aaaaaanyway, last week: Last week was fine. Calories were in deficit for the week, but not nearly as much as I wanted. However I also went out for dinner on one day, drank alcohol on two days and had cake staring at me in the fridge, so in retrospect I'm surprised it wasn't even less than it was. OH has just started using MFP to lose some weight and although he's on almost 1000kcal more than me, it does help to have extra motivation not to have a takeaway.
