I've never heard of these? What do they taste like and what do you do with them?

Similar to nutritional yeast. Excellent thickener. I also sprinkle on vegetables with herbs, sea salt. Love it in green drinks!

Been loving animal cookies dipped in milk lately. Only 8 calories per cookie. 3id3v9ez192d.jpeg

The 46 oz container of animal crackers have become a staple. And, of course, the broken ones have no calories.

plain animal crackers are very underrated!

But only the unforsted ones, with just a hint of lemon. Frosted animal crackers are an abomination.

I saw some people on instagram talking about how jelicious yuzu mayonnaise is so I ordered some and yes. It is. So citrusy and strong a tiny bit goes a long way. I already put it on bbq chicken sandwiches (with BBQ sauce from The Salt Lick outside Austin 🤤) and in a beet salad with walnuts and chives. It'd be sooo good on a banh mi too.

From the same place I got the mayo (Milk Street, run by the bow tie guy from America's Test Kitchen) I also bought some Burnt Sugar Orange flavored coffee sugar, which is supposed to taste like the Café Brulot they serve at Arnaud's and other grande dame New Orleans restaurants. It's... kind of close, a little heavier on the orange and less spicy complexity than the real thing. It's really good in the lazy man's cafe de olla I usually make (cinnamon and/or coco powder mixed with the coffee grounds in my drip machine). I think what it really needs is a healthy shot of brandy though. 😉

Typing this out I realize I guess I've been filling the void where travel used to be with online shopping for food?

Pickled veggies. I pickle like crazy. From onions, mushrooms, eggplants cucumbers and more. So much "calorie free" taste.

And tomato sauce. Anything you can make with a cann of tomatoes (salsa sauce, frittata, and others)
