Weather's been lousy, so it's been stationary cycling for the most part. I do, however, have new tires for my bike! :)

    9/2/2011 Taylor Rd. Loop 4.9
    9/4/2011 Stationary @ Gym 10.8
    9/7/2011 Stationary @ Gym 14.2
Total = 29.9 miles for Sept.

Is anyone else having trouble updating their tickers from tickerfactory.com? I can't seem to edit mine or make a new one tonight.

17.43 Miles this chilly, breezy morning. Off to a slow start this month, didn't ride nearly as much as I wanted to over Labor Day Weekend - spent most of it on a roof, stripping shingles, making repairs, and getting it ready for new shingles! Hoping to ride Saturday morning before work. We will see! Running total in my ticker.

1/9/2011 - 24.39Km - (15.16 miles) - local loop out of the front door, warm, sunny, gentle breeze
    2/9/2011 - 24.39Km - total 48.78Km (30.32 miles) - as above to the metre!
    4/9/2011 - 17.96Km - total 66.74Km (41.48 miles) - short local loop in the rain before dinner.
5/9/2011 - 24.42Km - total 91.19Km (56.65 miles) - blowing a hoolie out there think my extra 30m was side to side in the wind!
6/9/2011 - 24.45km - total 115.64Km (71.84 miles) - horrible, horrible static bike stress testing for my knee injury at hospital - 5 minute warmup and warmdown, with a 10 mile "Keep it at 400+watts" in the middle... Yuk! Then, just for good measure, they stick 3 big needles in my knee, and can't give me any results for a couple of days... I've been happier :grumble:
8/9/2011 - 24.42Km - total 140.06Km (87.01 miles) - normal local loop taking it steady to break my knee in gently

It's almost time to start pulling out the lights for my commute home in the evening. Not looking forward to the cold weather, but loving it right now in the 90s here in SoCal.

If you have a smart phone you can download the MapMyRide app and it will keep track of your miles and speed for you. Very handy. If you don't have a smart phone, you can go to gmap-pedometer.com and map out a route in advance (or afterwards) and it will tell you the mileage.

I'm glad to hear that your house (and you) are safe! Hopefully you'll be able to get back on your bike ASAP.

OK - I'm late, as usual.

However, I have been riding. I'm halfway there already. May not get to ride much this weekend, but next weekend we're going to the Waco Wild West ride. Can't wait!
