I'd like to lose 7 lbs by December 31st, and at least two inches off my belly.
I don't own a scale but I get weighed at the end of every month.
Last weight was 154.6 (155) 8/26/20
Waist circumference today 35" (at belly button)
The plan is to eat 1700 calories / day and do at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week.
I'm sticking mostly to YouTube videos and walking since gyms are closed, otherwise I'd be lifting.
I lost 27 lbs in 2019 entirely by weightlifting. I've only lost 5 lbs this year, but I still feel pretty good about that!
9/24: 153.8
10/3: 152.1

I bought a scale! Weighing myself weekly.
Waist measurement (at belly button): 32.5 in. Last time I checked it was 35 so making progress!
Since I've already almost made it to October's goal weight of 150, I'm gonna move that to 149.5 for end of October.
I haven't been eating all of my 1720 calories but I'm going to start so that I'm not being too aggressive.
I'm exercising 20-35 minutes 5-6 days a week.3 -

August 20th I weighed 205.7
Today I am at 197.6
Reassessing my goal is get to 192 by December 1st. I am accepting that I've slowed down. I am still working hard but 5.6 lbs in 7 weeks is more reasonable.

I began at 228 lbs & I found I remained motivated if
1) I did Better than my goal!
2) wasn’t too hungry
3) had a compelling reason to weigh less!!
I set my goal to 1 lb a week, and lost faster than that, so I felt encouraged, and I wasn’t very hungry either! 500 calorie daily deficit from a lot of calories wasn’t too bad.
Dig deep for the reason you want to lose weight. Keep asking why until you get the reason that is Super Compelling.
Why do you want to lose weight?
To be healthier?
Why do you want to be healthier?
To hopefully live longer & do more (less fatigue)
Why do you want to live longer?
To be with my loved ones for as long as humanly possible & be able to do active things with them!
BINGO!
Ever time I’m tempted to say, “heck with this” I remember my Big Why & keep exercising, tracking food, etc.

10/14 still going up although exercise is up & calories down. Holding tight. Watching calories. Exercise difficult with the temps. Could well be the extreme heat as I tend to retain 💦 then.

3.14 lbs per week is ambitious. 3.14x3,500=10,999 or 1570 deficit of calories PER DAY.
Usually, unless there is a medical necessity, it’s generally recommended not to lose more than 1-2lbs per week. And it’s recommended not to eat fewer than 1200 calories per day.
You don’t want to lose too
Much muscle!
However I’ see you’ve been here a few years, so likely you have a plan!!!

I’m wondering if you want to re-set your 1/1/21 goal to a lb a week? Or a 500 calorie deficit? Then, if you do lose more, you’ll just be extra happy.1 -
