I'm on keto and all I want is to eat sweets!

Is there a medical reason that you need to be on keto? If not, perhaps consider increasing your carb allowance enough to include the occasional sweet treat within your calories. Keto has no advantage over any other way of eating in terms of weight loss, beyond initial water weight. It works well for certain medical conditions, and many proponents find it greatly reduces their appetite, but at the end of the day, the weight loss method that works best for you is the one you're going to be able to stick with.31

I agreed! Why make it hard on yourself? Keto works for folks who LIKE eating that way. If it excludes your favorite foods, it’s probably not a great fit for you. Seriously, we all have more success sticking to plans we genuinely enjoy.12

Thats another reason keto would be a nonstarter for me...if I tried to deny myself something, it would then be all I could think about lol
I'd wind up baking and eating a whole batch.12 -
IIFYM all the way. Gotta have balance 😋7

And if you do need to be on keto, a sweet treat that easily fits is frozen raspberries. You can make a serving last quite a while just popping one in your mouth at a time and letting it defrost. No, it's not a cookie, but...2

This looks disgusting! What is it?4

Careful of binging. Many ketoers hit the wall and go wild. I'd re-evaluate the keto diet for you (no, I'm not against it, but it has to be a good fit). If you decide that you can't keep eating this way, then ease into a few carbs (you'll gain water at first), try a little rice or pasta. I'd try to not choose something like your pic with an overload of sugar and fat. After a couple of weeks try a small sweet treat or better yet, dark chocolate. Keep logging along the way and see how it goes. Adjust as necessary. I wish you luck, and whatever you decide, let us know how it goes. I'd be interested to see your results.9

I am another for whom keto is not a viable option. I need my carbs calories as well as my protein and my fat calories. Good luck with finding out what works best for you.5

To be fair, they look like half raw cookies
On topic: as others have said, if you don't have a particular (medical) reason for following a keto diet, then there is no reason to suffer by denying yourself foods you like. Weight loss requires a calorie deficit, keto is optional.9 -

Raw cookie dough is good! Nom nom nom
Also, keto wouldn't work for me as carbs are my best friends.15 -

Sounds both kind of hard to be honest, and not raw.2 -

Then don't do keto. If your diet makes you hate your life or crave things, it's not the diet for you.7

Keto works the same as any other diet, by having you eat in a deficit.
If, like many of us, you want your carbs, have them. Simply work them into your calorie allotment and say goodbye to keto. You will still lose weight if you eat in a deficit whether you do keto, high carb, vegan, IF, etc. because they all work the same way: you eat in a deficit. You simply need to find what works for you and it sounds like keto might NOT be the right thing.
I simply use MFP, set it for 1 lb a week, and eat whatever I please as long as it keeps me feeling full and fits into my daily calorie allowance, but it works for me. Something else might work for you. Find what it is and stick with it.3 -
Hang on in there! You can do it. Make sure you supplement with Magnesium Citrate. Result will come. Don't listen to the Keto-haters. They're just envious.5

Envious of what? :noway:20 -
Just my 2 cents ...
Weight loss is hard enough without restricting foods that you like unnecessarily
If you have no trouble with the Keto diet and you like it - cool
If you are already finding the Keto diet hard to follow and stick with then you probably should find something else.
Whatever helps you stay in a calorie deficit, will help you lose weight.
If you are adamant at sticking with Keto - either plan on doing it forever or else make a plan for when you are close or at your goal weight or you may find it hard to keep the weight off one you've lost it. Throughout your weight loss journey you should be learning healthier habits in order to maintain your weight.

Why would I be envious of people choosing to deny themselves foods that I enjoy? If anything, people who feel they require keto to manage their weight are in a distinctly UNENVIABLE position (this, of course, wouldn't apply to people who are on keto because they prefer it to other ways of eating).

Not one person in here has hated on keto.
Not one.30 -
Doing things we don't want to do all in the name of weight loss is the recipe for eating it all back.15

I also don’t understand what in the world there is to be envious of???
If keto works for you and you enjoy it, great. The OP distinctly sounds as if they DO NOT enjoy it. Punishing yourself will result in most people giving up on weight loss as there is only so long people can sustain refraining from the foods they enjoy. So, any diet that is restrictive for the sake of weight loss is likely to fail.
And, NO ONE has hated on keto in this thread...20 -

Yeah. I've done keto (I was already at my maintenance weight, it was an experiment) and I didn't mind it, but I missed fruit and some other whole food carbs I eat a lot of, found I was having to struggle to stay in my goal with the amount of veg I eat, and tended to eat more meat than I prefer to get to my protein goals. I don't know where envy comes in.11 -
I'm not envious of anyone's body or food protocol. Beauty and brawn will fade away with each passing day. Enjoy it while you can. All of it is nothing without our brains so we've simply got to use our heads besides something to part our ears with.6

Why encourage someone to do something they can't stand when its entirely unnecessary to accomplish their goals? And as for envy, why would I be envious when I can be shredded AND eat pasta, pizza, doughnuts and beer? I'm not a keto hater, I'm a "being miserable because of my diet" hater. If keto doesn't make you miserable, knock yourself out.18 -

If keto works for you that's fine, and no-one has suggested otherwise. OP seems to be struggling with it and most of the posts here simply offer a perhaps timely reminder that keto is not the only way to plan one's diet and approach one's macros.10 -

LOL, my net carb intake yesterday was 35g. Try again.
Keto is not magic, and it is not the right fit for everyone. There is no 'One True Way', other than finding a way to create a sustainable calorie deficit that works for you.16 -
