@pancakerunner - Your post regarding 'loving' whipped butter on pancakes made me comment here on my distain with it. 🤣 It's just very disgusting to my palate...too funny
Really? Tatse or texture?0 -

I agree! I cringe at those ranch dressing commercials where all the vegetables are dunked in ranch dressing, suggesting that's the only way kids will like them. Or some cheese advertisement, probably Velveeta that says something ridiculous like "make broccoli less broccol-ish!". Ugh.3 -
Cake, donuts etc. I've never liked them. Again a texture thing i think. Like eating actual bath sponge. Cake just isn't nice.2

No question about that one! There is nothing better than a well made (gooey works too) baked item!

I've never tasted it but if its like marzipan (marzipan is almond right?) I'll hate it passionately
Salted caramel and salted chocolate. Salt is savoury. Salt has no place in a sweet thing like chocolate. It ruins it completely.0 -

I too like almond extract - carefully used though. And salt ABSOLUTELY makes anything sweet WAYYYYY better. I'm to the point now that it really should be mandatory or just not worth it 😆1 -
