Wow, so great for you to hit that 50 pound loss!
It took me 2 years minus 1 month to lose 50.
I am definitely feeling lighter, I imagine that you are also.

Hi, I'm back again, hoping to do better this month. I know for sure that regardless of if I meet my goal for the month or not, this challenge helps me, I have been a member of MFP since I turned 60, I am now 69. Until this challenge which I started in October, I haven't really participated or posted much, in fact I only put my actual picture here in Oct. after being a member for 9 years. Even though I still fall back on bad habits and thoughts of "I can't do this, It's too much effort, etc. etc." This forum seems to be sneaking into my doubts with little thoughts of "maybe I can do it, it's not that much effort, etc. etc." I'm still staying in the back ground a bit but I now have a record of the last 3 months and know that I'm further ahead than I would have been without it.

    MFP Starting Weight: 273lbs. approx.
    December starting weight:243lbs.
    December total weight loss:
December goals: track, track, track and lose 5lbs.

    Week 1
    12/2: 243lbs.

    Week 2
    12/9: 243 lbs.

    Week 3
    12/16: 242lbs.

MFP Starting Weight: 251.3 lbs on Nov 22, 2020
    December Starting Weight: 245 lbs
December goal: To be at or below 232 lbs

Week 1 - did really well this week, tracked all my food and got activity every day. Averaged 13k steps/day and purposefully walked 18.85 miles for exercise over this week.
    12/1 - 245.0 lbs
    12/2 - 243.8 lbs
    12/3 - 243.6 lbs
    12/4 - 242.4 lbs
    12/5 - 242.0 lbs
    12/6 - 241.0 lbs
    12/7 - 241.4 lbs

    Week 2
12/8 - 241.4 lbs - a little frustrated by my mini-plateau I've hit, but am keeping up with maintaining my desired calorie deficit, and will add drinking more water and getting some extra sleep tonight, as I've not been getting enough!
12/9 - 239.8 - woohoo! exited to have broken through my mini-plateau, and to be out of the 240s!
12/10 - 239.4 - didn't get specific exercise in yesterday, but did hit 13k steps.
12/11 - 239.4 - yesterday was on track. Guessing the new fiber supplement I started taking is causing some water retention.
    12/12 - 239.2
12/13 - 239.9 - no reason for an increase, I've been on track with eating & exercising. Will drink extra water today...
12/14 - 238.9 - going back in the right direction

    Week 3
    12/15 - 238.1 - woohoo!
12/16 - 240.0 - I ate poorly yesterday, but I should've still had a small calorie deficit. I certainly didn't eat enough to gain 2 lbs!! I'm assuming this is all temporary and should drop off soon. Will up my water & eat light today.

December weight change to date:(5.0) lbs
