This week's successes: logging all my meals.
This week's challenges: I haven't been to the gym in a few days as I've been under the weather. It showed today at weigh-in as I gained a pound. Hopefully by next week I can get back in the gym and feel better.8 -

This week's successes: No loss but no gain either despite takeout and lunch date. Chose good food and ate small portions. Lots of leftovers for DH. Getting in long runs of over an hour long.
This week's challenges: Cuban takeout! Greek lunch! So much good tasting food.3 -
Hi everyone! I just found this challenge today. I started my 2021 challenge on January 10th. I would love to join 52 lbs in 52 weeks! It's a great idea.

Good luck everyone. I will check in next week!9 -

This week's successes: Continuing with new habit of eating breakfast before work. Exercised most days of the week.
This week's challenges: Ate out for lunch several times.4 -
I'll weight in on Thursdays.
Good luck to everyone else on reaching our goals this year!
Dec 31st 213.8 lbs
Jan 7th 211.6 lbs
Jan 14th 212.4 lbs
Jan 21st 210.5 lbs
This weeks successes: I logged all week - which is a big positive. Last week I thought I was ready to give up. I have also cut out the pizza! Occasional beers only, so that's good.
This weeks challenges: sugar cravings! I want to incorporate more fresh fruit and veg. I used to be 100% plant-based, so it feels weird that I can't return to it as easily as I thought I could. Hopefully next week I am a step closer. I think it's the cold weather keeping me indoors. I need to get to the fresh market more often

Welcome to the 2021 challenge! We are only 3 weeks into the new year and new habits are starting to form. Everyday is a new challenge and a New victory. We will succeed and but we will stumble along our journey. If I'm falling, at least I'm falling forward. Stay positive, stay focused, and be mindful of our goals.5

Last Week's Successes: I completed my goal of two 10 minute walks a day.
Last Week's Challenges: Again. not taking enough time for me and planning effectively, as higher carb meals appear to make me gain weight despite being under calories. I also had a hard time drinking water.
Next Week's Plan: Focus on meal planning and drinking water. Continue 2 small walks a day and spend more time on PT exercises.4 -
Starting weight: 247.4 lbs (1/1/2021)
Goal weight: 160, then reevaluate
Current weight: 244.0 lbs (1/22/2021)
Total weight lost: 3.4 lbs
This week's successes: I successfully boxed up half of my restaurant meal right away, and didn't nibble at it once I'd finished the half I planned to eat. Also, my knee's feeling better, so I've been able to work out pretty much normally all week.
This week's challenges: The dishes I'm planning to prep for lunch and cook for dinner next week are kind of involved so I'm already tired just thinking about them.7 -
Week 3. Challenge kicked my butt
The booty challenge I started, when combined with a long ride, shredded my legs and left me barely mobile. I missed several days and deferred the challenge until next month. Clearly an area for improvement! NSV, buying blue jeans to replace my current pairs (38x32) with something that fit better (32x34). To be fair, I’ve hung on to those baggy breeches well past the point of reason.
Starting weight 1/1/2021: 192 lbs
Goal weight: 165 lbs
Current Weight: 184.6 lbs
This week’s Change: -3.5 lbs
Challenge weight lost: 7.4 lbs
This Week’s Successes:
Logged most days. Meals have been healthy and I have been getting out to walk since it’s more conducive than riding at the moment. Managed five days of a 30-day challenge before I broke.
This Week’s Challenges:
Aforementioned booty challenge failure. A few indulgences with a bag of Dove chocolate caramels and a limited amount of workouts. Logging has also been spotty since my daily routine has changed.5 -

This week's successes: Keeping my daily average calories down to MY goal. It's higher than mfp's goal for me, but I am working my way down to that.
This week's challenges: A couple of medical issues that I think have actually caused the weight gain, which I think is fluid (I have lymphedema). It's not much, just annoying more than anything that it can make the scale go up, albeit temporarily.6 -
I would love to join in on this challenge, even if it is a little late.
I won't be able to lose a pound a week but would like to track my progress.
I weigh in on Fridays
Starting weight: 231 lbs (12/2/19)
2021 Starting weight: 199 lbs
Goal weight: 160 lbs
01/22: 197.6 lbs
Total 2021 weight lost: 1.4 lbs
Total weight lost: 33.4 lbs
This week's successes: The Half Marathon I was training for in March was moved to Nov (COVID). Since that happened I was struggling to run and figure out a plan. Yesterday I got back to running just because.
This week's challenges: I have gotten off track with food this last week (TOM) and have been giving into cravings for sweet foods at night. I will work on that this upcoming week.4 -
I am in for this challenge to hold myself accountable. I am 51 year old 6'0" with a Thyroid issue, that I am on Meds for, and tore my Achilles in May. My weight constantly yoyo's and the up is more than the down. Heaviest I have ever been.
I have been unable to do any cardio and the weight has continued to creep up. I also have a torn Meniscus but can still get around. I decided to test the waters on the stationary bike this morning and am able to start doing that. Hopefully this will help take the weight off.

Starting weight January 1, 2021: 211
Goal weight:150
Current weight: 207.8
Last week's missed update: 208.8
Total weight lost: 3.2
This week's successes:
I set a goal for myself to not eat meat at least two days a week this year, and this week manage to do three!
Not weight related, I am reupholstering my couch, and over this last week tore it down, and have it almost finished now.
This week's challenges:
I helped a friend of mine paint her home for sale, and to say thanks she bought lunch and dinner. While I did stay mindful of how much I ate, it is still difficult to hold yourself accountable for what you eat when you are not making that decision.
Overall, things worked out and this year seems to be moving in a good direction.8 -

Jan Loss:
Surprised but happy with this weeks loss. Was TOM and it was a tough week, only able to work out 3 days of 6 and my body screamed for food all week, kept to calorie goal 5 days out of 7....
Funny story: On friday night I did a sneak weigh in and I was really happy about the result. So I told my husband.
Me: "They scale says I lost weight this week!"
My husband: " Wow, how much did it say?!"
Me: "Low"
Lol it was actually the scale telling me the battery was low. but my husband loved the joke! He laughed his *kitten* off....and then proceeded to tell the shop keeper the next day, he laughed his *kitten* off too!!!6 -

This week's successes: Logging, Calorie Intake, Exercising, I caught myself tucking my shirt in yesterday. Guess What? The muffin roll over the top of my jeans is gone!!!!!!! I am a tucker! I can tuck!
This week's challenges: Mother Nature - totally shocked at the scale this morning --- This is a huge thank you to all the posts that talked about their different types of calories consumed. I was just concentrating on staying at or below my limit. After reading your posts, I started looking at my own calorie reports - fats, fiber, sugar, protein, salt etx. I didn't realize my Fat intake is way high and Fiber is way low. And some of the other categories are okay but could be better. Thanks for opening up my eyes and I am going to do the research and see what I can do to have a better eating week.
My first pampering gift to self is Clean/Natural Makeup. Holy cow that stuff is expensive!!! This gift will need to cover the future 10lb lost as well. The next self pampering gift goal is the 15lb mark (203.8) and I got my eyes on a foot mask -- $20.
