OK so I am back again, this time to get my isolation, Christmas and bad relationship weight down. Started at the end of December at 81.5 Kg, now am 74.3kg. My goal is to get under 70kg which will put me into a healthy weight range again. 5kg might not seem much but I am having a total knee replacement in may and every kg of excess weight is 4kg of excess pressure in my knees, so 5kg is 20kgof pressure that I don't need. ##edit## I should also add that I can't do walking or any weight-bearing exercise so it is swimming and diet. I'm also 51.4

Strava user trying to explore the finesspal options can it be used to track friends activity ? weekly leaderboards based on the friends activity ? how to check those options in Fitnesspal? in strava it trackes ride,run and swim, but would need to consider walk, gym and any workout acitivity0

Hey all, been on the app in and out for a while but have decided now is the time to get it all sorted, health, wealth, fitness. Currently 125kg at 5ft 9in....dad bod rather than a big ole round beer barrel. Crossfit 5 times a week and love throwing the iron around. I am terrible for motivation but thought I would use here to help me out.0

Hello, I'm new here, I left a toxic relationship back in September and just aiming to get healthier, and in doing so I am hoping to get 100+ lbs off this year, by September. I am already on my way with approximately 22/23lbs off. The tracking of food myself was a nightmare, hard to remember or forget to keep track so I was reminded of this App. So here I am, and very thankful. Anyways, could always use new friends, send me request, Happy New Year, it's not a "New Year New You" for me but gaining more finding myself again. Stay safe.5

Lost my Dad 2 years ago and promised myself I'd get super healthy and fit and I have to say its taken up my life and I feel so much better.

Hi, about 6 months ago I decided it was time to sort my life out and start working on the body I’ve wanted for 1/2 my life. The big 30 was just around the corner and I’d ran out of excuses to not do something about it! I’ve always been one to take on an extreme diet / gym routine that’s not at all sustainable. This time I tried to make small changes to my lifestyle and lose the weight slow and steady in a CALORIE DEFICIT. 6 months later I’ve lost 21lb and feeling so much better about myself (mentally and physically). I’ve still got a long way to go to achieve my long term goals but that’s my story so far ☺️1

Same. Was here previously and did fantastic, lost 50lbs. Then life threw me a few curve balls and I gained all my weight back. Starting fresh!0 -

Hi everyone I've member for years but never used my membership! this year I'm keen to finally get to a 'normal' weight. want to lose 2-3 stones. I'm TRE, 800 cal sometimes Macroing it up to 1300 then 5:2! Bloody everything! argh! truly confused and drinking 3ltrs min a day plus 3500 steps up to 10k! some help understanding macros would be great - I did find an online site but the amount of cals they said I need to eat was huge and I'm not that tall so not sure whether to believe it...anyone hello and very happy to be here0

HELLO!! I am so happy to be here and to be where I am right now. This time around I am being very successful and I am finally happy and confident. I'm down 22.5lbs and only 80 more to go to hit my goal. It felt like I was never going to make any kind of progress but I am happy to say I have. I know it's a slow process but I am glad to say I am not giving up. I'm glad to be here.3

New here joined MyFitnessPal two days ago and lost 2lbs already hope I can keep it up I've been over 14 stone since last year and I'm sick of feeling tired. I'm 36 nearly 37 and wish they'd open those gyms back up also really like swimming miss it lots. Xx3

New to my fitness Pal just signed up abit ago, trying to focus and get my control back in eating as I have done nothing but binge which isn't good since I was only diagnosed type 2 diabetes few months ago and I really lack exercise too I'm a very big girl and need to get my *kitten* in gear 😆

I have been on this site off and on for years. Today I have restarted and being committed!
I'm 44 years old. I have been overweight since I had my first child. I had gastric sleeve in 2017. Then in 2018 I had a hernia w/ large mesh repair, and most recent in Dec 2020 I had breast lift, Fleur-de-lis panniculectomy. Then around Jan 2021 staph infection from surgery. Follow me about my journey and ask me any question and I will be the one to honestly answer!

Rejoining after 4 years. So much has happened since then. Sudden loss of my husband in Jan 2018 after 25 yrs of a good christian marriage. Age 62 now. 5'6" wt 176 lbs. I had gotten down to 169 before my tragedy. Goal is 156. I'm not trying to be a 25 year old, lol but need to get back to being moderately active for my age. My two sons say I look 10 yrs younger than my age. Are they just trying to sweet talk me? I would love to chat from time to time. Just to say hi. Feel free to add me.1
