I traveled this weekend for a women's ice hockey tournament. I brought food but I ate out way more meals than I planned to but even then I stuck to my Keto efforts. I really amazed myself by turning down all the treats my team went for! It's easy to try to justify things when you burn (*estimated*) 350-500 calories each of the 6 games in 2 1/2 days, but I held strong for once!14

I didn't have the greatest of weekends, but after 22 almost 'perfect' days, I let things slip a bit. This morning, I made sure that the weekend was not going to derail me, and proceeded to eat like a champ and have a nice cardio session when I got back from work. That is a win.

My husband gave me a bear hug this morning and as he was about to let go, he paused, then pulled me in tighter and said “You feel different! I can tell hun!” ☺️☺️☺️31

Since I started this program my blood sugars have dropped dramatically. I didn't have to take my meds for 2 days now and my sugar is staying below 130. It was in upper 200's. And another praise report I was able to walk 150 steps with my walker. When I started I could only do 30.48

I ran to and from my running group last night since there was too much snow for my bike. So that’s an extra 3.6km each way. Total distance 12.5km excluding the technique drills.
I’m really amazed because I didn’t even find it very hard. To think that this time last year I hadn’t even started running.30 -
loosing 14 cm from my waist this month which I am over the moon about25

Yesterday I was shopping in a store I was unfamiliar with. While trying to figure out where I was, I was approached by a sales person who asked what I needed.
I let her know I needed a swimsuit, and they were on track in front of me. She said, “Well, this is plus sizes, and I’m assuming you’re under a size 18.”
Sure enough, I bought a 14.
But, she a stranger looked at me and knew I didn’t belong in the plus size section any more.
22 to 14 since this February (272 to 198).
My brain is still catching up.57 -
I logged 7 days in a row!25

It's really small (for me), but I have stuck to our menu for the week for all last week. We have a big problem with emotional eating, and just going "I'm too tired, just order something for delivery"
I have a long way to go, so I have to look at the little baby steps...36 -
Went to the eye doctor and all signs of diabetes are out of my eyes!! Much faster than they expected too. Been really dedicated to a low carb diet but not seeing much difference on the scale. This NSV was much needed!33

I am Week 1 Day 2 of Couch to 5k and I actually did all 8 intervals compared to Monday's Day 1 where I only did 6/826

I did a solid hour on the elliptical yesterday. When I first began this journey I was fresh out of a back surgery and could barely do 7-8 minutes at a time.28

Super proud of you! I started C25K again right before the 1st of the new year and I remember how week 1 was pure h3ll.
Most days, I can get through my intervals, but once in a while, I can hardly get through 30-60 seconds, lol. I'm on W4D3 and I keep getting progressively slower to the point where my walk breaks are probably faster than my running intervals...oof.
Keep it up!20 -
Someone brought Crumbl cookies to work! I usually have 1/2 a cookie (they are HUGE) and today I had a 1/4 and felt completely satisfied and didn’t want more!!22

Doing intermittent fasting. Did 20 hour fast today.10

My back is changing. The changes are too small for anyone else to notice but my arms can reach all of my back; fitted sweaters fit well instead of stretching too tightly across my back and midriff; clothes swing differently. It’s exactly the motivation I needed this morning so the timing is perfect.
Another NSV is that of consistently getting up again. Since my world imploded last June, I‘ve slightly derailed just prior to any anticipated trip. It’s nothing major; I don’t binge but I do stray from extremely healthy eating habits for 1-2 days and skip workouts as I battle anxiety at whatever blow the next trip will bring. I have also consistently picked myself up again and gone back on track every single time. I’ve just realized that in itself is a victory.26 -

Today it was the Russian Lifeguard at the pool asking me where I train out of. Well I actually only train for myself but I felt it was a total compliment to me that he noticed my coming there and thought I was on a swim team. Guess I don't suck after all.....lol.
I know I don't suck...I kid because I can.16 -
I have an old pair of jeans I’m using as my goal jeans rather than having a goal weight. I felt my best at that size.
Anyway, when I started I didn’t even try putting them on, I wish I had. Then a few months ago, I tried and couldn’t get them up past my butt. I’m at my tentative halfway point now (it’s my “goal weight” because it’s the weight I was last time I wore that size, but I’m keeping it tentative because babies have a tendency to change your body, so I know I may need to adjust). Well, guess what? I can now pull them all the way on, they’re just nowhere close to zipping. 😁 Yay!!
I needed that mental boost because I keep waiting for my husband or my family to say something and it’s crickets over here.42 -
I'm noticing a change in my booty! It's one of the main things I focus on!14

I purchased an elliptical (used) because working from home doesn't have me moving around enough during the day and I've got lbs. to lose. Well 1st week with it here and I've worked out 5 days in a row. It's been hard, lots of excuses for not getting on but I managed to push through and get my workouts in 💪27

My workout last night with my PT had 42 total pushups. Six months ago, I could barely do 5 on my toes with good form. I did every single pushup on my toes and with good form. On top of everything else she had me do in the workout.25

Sat with bowl of chips directly in front of me. Didn’t eat one. Nor any cheese dip. Also declined wine. I’ve been exercising a ton, but that has led to “well, I can justify this extra wine/dessert/chips” far too often. So I’m cutting back on a bit on exercise (hip has been protesting) and tightening up logging. Three days of this and I have more energy and am feeling more hopeful that I can budge these holiday più that have hung on since Thanksgiving.21

I wish I cold have been there to see if you decided to have some cheese dip without the chips....
You DO know why the sea monster didn't eat the ship full of potatoes, right?Nobody can eat just one potato ship.11 -

Bought new fleece lined pants at Costco-size medium. Figured they’d be slightly snug. I was surprised to find they’re slightly big in the waist & ever so slightly loose in the hips. I am VERY pleased 😀19
