This is the first time I've stuck to this long enough to HAVE before/after photos.
I'm nowhere near my goal but just sticking to weight loss has been a huge success so I hope it's ok to share...

Not without a battle I'll tell you! I did yo yo in my 20s a bit, but kept up an activeish lifestyle and quit drinking (too many calories hahaha)
I got a dog, started riding a bike, and kept with a "diet" that doesn't restrict anything. I also try to laugh everyday.

WEEK 50 of 100 pound goal in 1 year need to do 9.6 more pounds in 2 more weeks on my birthday where I turn 50 years old... feeling skeptical right now... I will still have a long way to go after I reach 100 pounds but I don't want to fail after working so hard... I need all of the help I can get...

@FlSouthpaw, It would be really cool if you hit that 100 lb mark by your birthday, but you've done an amazing thing already!! Keep up the good work.6

Dude, wow! That's great, amazing work. If you've done all that in a year, I think you have what it takes to get all the way to goal, and stay there! (As you get lighter, slowing down the rate a bit might be part of really making the long term change happen.)
Your progress is excellent: Keep up the good work . . . and happy 50th. What a great birthday present you've given yourself, health improvement, gotta believe you feel better, and you've probably earned yourself more *future* birthdays than the old, much-heavier you, would have reason to expect. Nice!31 -
