After I weighed I put it in MFP and they gave me credit for 100 guess they round up. But I know in my heart I still have .2 to lose. If I cheat I am only cheating my self. That might sound strange but I have failed so many times I just want to truly succeed. How about i give your a virtual hug cuz I think your awesome too.7 -
So glad you kept going and were willing to share your journey with the mfp community so we can be inspired through your success.3

Congratulations!! This is so fantastic!
I'm guessing your story has put a little pep in the step of many MFPers. It sure has mine. I did a little dance in my kitchen for you.1 -
Your journey has warmed my heart and inspired me to continue on with mine. I have lost 81lbs. since 7/16/20 and lately I have been feeling like I want to eat more than I should. I keep a hard copy of my food diary with me at all times and just look at it. If I have eaten all I should for the day, I try to keep myself busy with something else or just go to bed. It is a struggle at times, but the reward far outweighs the grief. Thank you for sharing your story with us. You are a true "shining star". Good luck with that .2, I know you will make it. God's blessings on you and your changed lifestyle.4

Thank you so much - your post really means a lot to me. If my story helps one person then I know my journey will be blessed tenfold. I have started this quest so many times but this time I am going to finish because I have the support of so many people and I am not doing it alone. A big hug to you my friend.

Thank you so much and God Bless you too. You can do it. I have had so many challenges and setbacks. I have been a serial dieter most of my adult life. This is the furthest I have gotten and the healthest I have been in years in body and mind. I look at my diary several times a day to keep me accountable it's on my phone. I log everything before I eat to account for everything that goes in my mouth to stay as I call it legal. I pray for strenght daily. I don't really think of myself as a shining star as much as someone who is an example of someone who is a phonenix rising from the ashes to a new me. You can do it just have faith in yourself and find people who have faith in you and support you.

Happy Valentines Day Everyone. Unfortunately ,I don't have good news this morning I didn't reach my goal I actyally gained .04 oz so now I am .06 away from goal. But I am not discouraged I have till my Birthday in April. And this is a journey not a race. I have been working hard for the past 2 years so no time to give up. Anything could account for the gain, I slept in this morning because it was so cold I couldn't get up so I didn't weight at the same time. I may be at a plateau and they happen and they don't last forever. It's cold and I generally lose slower in the winter than in the warmer months. I am so close my body and metabolism has probably slowed. I am going to just take it in stride and move on. My positive affirmation for today is :
My mind is clear of self-doubt, and I am ready to embrace every challenge that comes my way.1 -
You look great! Keep up the good work.1

What an inspiration! It helps to see proof that it’s possible. I’m 4’8” and was at 173 this time last year. Down to 165 now. My weight loss has stalled since late summer, although I still consider it a victory to have stopped the weight gain and not backslide. I’ve just signed up for this program and I’m hoping it will be the tool I need to get to 100. Still a long journey yet in front of me, but your story helps provide encouragement. God speed.2

You can do it. Stalls happen. The important thing is not to let the stalls get you down. I have had many stalls or I call the plateaus in the last 2 years. I do 2 things I get the measuring tape out and see how many inches I have lost because the scale doesn't always tell the whole story. Like this morning I didn't lose any weight but I lost a total of 4 inches between my arms 1/2 in, waist 1 1/2, bust 1/2 , hips 1, thighs 1/2 . The other thing I do is I go back and look at my diary and see what I ate. Especially the night before I weighted. So just hang in there the journey is long but the rewards at the end are worth it. Take care and Happy Valentines Day and good luck on your journey.
