Congratulations on your achievements. I am sure if you look at your blood work from the beginning and compare it to now you have improved your metabolic health as well.1

Wow! You are such as inspiration, congrats to you!1

I love the quote you shared. It certainly worked for you, and somehow I feel it applies to my life and weight loss journey as well. You are very brave to share your photos, (I hate looking at myself in photos) but it shows how beautiful you are. Congratulations on your "beautiful beginnings!"1

Thanks for posting BeUncommon. I am just starting out again and have a lot to lose too. Like your words of advice about calorie counting & achieving exercise whilst experiencing pain. I feel obsessive about the calorie counting and worried about exercising with pain, but you have inspired me to get & keep going. You look great, well done ❤️

How incredible. I bet your Dad would be so proud of you!
Thank you for sharing your journey, it's a real inspiration1 -
Great job. I had a friend that looks like you (Her name is Sue) and I have lost contact with her. I hope she loses weight like you have done. I only need to lose 75 pounds, but that is a lot for me. Right now, I am at 40% BMI.2

First, deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. He would be very proud of what you have achieved, and you are indeed very inspiring! Your determination and grit are awe inspiring as well as motivational for me.
I'm just returning to the trough as it were after a few years away. My weight was very stable for a LONG time but somehow the last couple years (especially last year) I managed to pack it back on, so seeing a story like yours, and your willingness to share it for the benefit of others - well thanks from the bottom of my heart.
I don't talk about what's going on with my weight to anyone IRL, but somehow sharing online is easier. This is a very non-judgmental place, filled with non-judgmental people... that helps! Keep it up, you're doing GREAT.5 -
You make me happy! Congratulations!1

Your journey is remarkable. I have survived a heart attack, stroke, and 12 major surgeries. Now at 90 I am trying to lose #55.I am encouraged that this can be done by just counting calories plus some reasonable amount of exercise. Before the pandemic closed gyms I worked out for 2 hours seven days a week. I had to utilize the medication Prednisone for over two years and Prednisone has a side effect of weight gain. Excuse perhaps, but I ballooned up. Now, inspired by your journey and those of others I am down 20 lbs in 2 months

Thank you so much I think alot of people find it hard to share. I always try and distract from my weight with humour. I am trying to stop doing that. Losing weight is sooo hard. People that have never had to deal with being overweight, i don't believe can understand how hard it actually is to lose it. It is a constant battle. I don't really believe I have ever been a real inspiration to anyone but it makes me feel so good that I have inspired people here. Please feel free to add me or message me anytime even if it is simply to rant0 -

dcdubois35 - seems to me you are already a warrior yourself. 90 years old and you were working out at the gym? hell, you inspire me!! I do understand about prednisone and yes it does make you balloon up so not really an excuse but a fact. Sound like you are well on your way to reaching your goal!! Keep going.. you got this!0 -
