One thing I'm noticing is a higher amount of energy. I live in a house with a lot of stairs, and before I started consciously losing weight, I'd often avoid doing little tasks around the house because it required me to get something from another level... now I just bound up or down and get it done. Makes me feel great.20

I can take my watch off without undoing the buckle. I'm also feeling taller and can squeeze through gaps easier.9

Yesterday morning I woke up 3 pounds heavier than usual. In the past I would have panicked. I would have gotten frustrated. I would have gone hog wild on the holiday foods. Instead I thought rationally, knew there was no way I had eaten enough to gain 3 pounds overnight, and went on with my day. Today my weight is right where I would have expected it to be. It feels good to be in control.

My labs came back great! (Except for b-12.. ugh)16

I do workouts by fitness blender and they have a lot of floor exercises too so previously I had to take support of the wooden desk next to my PC to get up and because of my weight I could easily move the desk while trying to get up but now it doesn't move when I take support maybe coz I'm also 4 kgs lighter 😛😉
From 85 kgs in Nov 2020 to 81 kgs as of now!13 -
I look forward to going to the gym.
(I still have trouble getting there but that's the ADHD, and no worse than anything else; I just get easily distracted.)6 -
I rolled out of bed at 5:45 this morning to make it to a 6:15 class at the gym.17

People are starting to notice my weight loss (95 lbs. since 7/16/20). Yesterday the cashier at the convenience store where I get gasoline looked at me with a concerned look on her face. She commented "I haven't seen you around for a while, have you been ill, you look very thin". I told her I stopped eating fast food and carbonated beverages. I informed her that I now eat using IF and MFP logging to intentionally lose weight. I thanked her for her concern and enjoyed/savored her observation.18

Took this photo today and realized the features in my face are returning instead of just being a round blob.
You look great5 -
Just switched out my winter and summer clothes. My shorts that were too small last year fit now!12

Today I went to the gym and lifted weights.
Then I made lunch (quesadillas) which requires a lot of standing and watching over them.
Ate lunch, didn't want anything else.
Went to the home improvement store. Bought two potted roses and some annuals for a container, plus a bag of grass seed and a bag of mulch. Immediately when I came home I planted the annuals in their container, planted canna lily bulbs in another container, and planted the roses, which meant I had to walk up and down the hill to get the shovel and rake and then back again to put them away....
And I came in and my bad foot was sore from being used on the shovel (oops) but otherwise...I'm okay. I'm happy to sit down and have a lot of water, but I'm not needing a nap or so worn out I won't be able to cook later. This is AMAZING. I feel almost like I'm normal.28 -
This is my virgin post, been using MFP off and on for years, had scale shock during the pandemic. Weighed 450 a month ago, 1.5 months later I am 50-50lbs lighter and ready for permanent change! 30m walk a day, 2600cal or less (sometimes a bit more if I walk extra).
My first non scale victory? Going to the grocery store, not looking for closest spot, and doing a light skip/jog to the door to allow a car to pass faster!
Could really use some fellow (morbidly) obese in my friend circle if anyone wants to add. I'm 34M/IN39 -
I can now wrap a bath sheet around my waist without having to suck my stomach in first and I can see my toes again.
Hopefully I'll be able to see my feet soon and not just my toes!16 -
Using the skills I learnt through weight loss in other aspects of my life. Starting with super small goals to make things achievable and taking care of myself. I haven't just lost 20 lbs (so far), I now have a good skin care routine and created a plan at work to make me a little more productive each day. Just realising these skills are for life and are interchangeable - so you always realise you don't have to live a certain way if you don't want to.
Oh and being able to do 5 push ups without stopping (hoping to get to 10). This may sound tiny to some people but when I started I began with one of the semi push ups (on your knees) and ripped a muscle in my back because I was so weak. So yeah that's pretty awesome.20 -
This sounda stupid but I'm pretty codependent and most of my office works from home now. That means all of my walking buddies aren't there anymore. It's taken a long time but I finally have gotten myself to take walks alone during my breaks. It's perfect because I'm getting out the office, I can go at my own speed, and I'm getting extra calories burned. 😊31

I just got back on my weight loss wagon. It's been a month and I've lost 16lbs... that being said you know how it goes we never see it coming off! Well my recent NSV was using a belt. I can see where I've worn the holes. The other day I was able to pull my belt two holes tighter! The holes are 1 inch apart, that means I've lose 2 inches around my waist! I'll take that!20

My NSV to today was going to the Spa my birthday present to me from me. And being able and not ashamed to get a massage. Before the idea of taking my clothes off and having someone rub my fat around was appalling to me. Instead of going to dinner tonight I went to the spa this morning for a spa, manicure and pedicure it was awesome. A combination reward for reaching goal by my birthday and birthday present rolled into one. This was my first massage EVER in my life it was amazing.26

When it's warm enough I fly fish at a local park with river access. Yesterday evening I walked further than I have in over a year (even after a 30 minute run at lunch on the treadmill). I ended up catching more fish because of it!13

My pants are to loose!11
-
My jeans are getting too loose!! My mom noticed the other day too, which feels good Feelin great!12

I tried a pair of ridiculously small looking stretchy jeans on, expecting them to lodge above my knees and go no further. Instead, they slid right up and fastened comfortably—so much so that I wore them all day.
I had thought I was just about ready to go down one size. Turns out I’ve already dropped that size and am getting close to another. Another month and it won’t be the stretchy jeans. Another 2.5 months or thereabouts and I’ll be in single digit clothing again. That’s a good non scale victory to me21 -
I have a clothing NSV today too.
I thought I would wear my old favourite dress today and put it in only to find it was baggy through the hip area (and it's not a style that really looks good like that), so I was a bit sad to not be able to wear it....but then I remembered a cute dress I got last year that I couldn't quite fit into, and tried that on instead. And it fit!! 😃27 -

Just realized this is actually an NSV. I'm under a MASSIVE amount of stress at work and have been for over a month. It's gone from almost dealable to moderately sucky to "I want to quit as of yesterday, just let this pain end." And back and forth, randomly. I might have a terrible morning then a great afternoon or a really bad day or a really bad week followed by a good day - I never know ahead of time. It's given me stress induced asthma and made me question my own basic competence as a human being on multiple occasions. It's been bad.
Anyway, my NSV is that the bingiest I ever got was not logging for a few days and going over my total calories a little - enough that I never actually gained any significant weight. An even bigger victory is that instead of wanting to go buy a family sized bag of chips or bake a whole cake and eat it or something, I have been wanting lots of soothing tea. And maybe a little sugar, but not a whole lot. That is a huge difference from the way I was before.
I don't know how much different it would have been if I had been able to go out of the house and stop by my favorite snack source on the way home form work, but hey, I'll take it! I've even used exercise as stress management and that too is a big thing.29 -
I had a pizza yesterday and didn't beat myself up for it. Just logged it and moved on!13
-
25 years ago today, I quit alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes.81

I walked a full loop walk with my dogs and partner. I haven't gone with them that far in months22
-
When my lovely online yoga teacher asked me to hug my knees into my chest...I was ABLE TO, without huge discomfort for the first time in years!23
-
I realized last night that my behavior on those days I don't want to 'deal with' food and don't care at all, I no longer default to take out or fast food. My default 'whatevers' are now yogurt, cottage cheese, or oatmeal. Still fast and easy but much easier options.
(Still eat the other things, just when I WANT them instead of when I don't actually want anything)22
