Caprese salad. Spaghetti w/marinara and meatballs.

Pasta w finely chopped porcini mushrooms, EVOO, garlic, parsley, veg broth, black pepper, cayene pepper, and chopped cherry tomatoes.

Round zucchini stuffed with farro (spelt) and mozzarella. Roasted potatoes.

I made the starter of salad of blue cheese, candied nuts, toasted quinoa. Hubby made the main of Hollandse zuurkool stampot met worst (=mash with sauerkraut + organic hotdogs).

Banger & Mash. The sausage was made by a local meat store. Salad of spring mix, tomato, olives, cucumber and a spritz of olive oil and balsamic.

Proteic cheesecake made with whey protein in muffins form

Homemade Chinese stir fries. Chicken breast and snow peas as welll as aubergine with minced pork. Sticky rice on the side.

Oven baked chicken legs (shake & bake using gluten free flour and curry powder), quinoa and salad of spring mix, tomato, olives w/spritz of olive oil and balsamic.

Starter of salad with a mixture of the last of the ranch and the last of the Caesar dressing with some Cambodian street corn made with mini cobs in the air fryer. Main of linguiine cacio e pepe. A relatively spartan way to eat pasta with cheese given that traditional recipes for two people contain 150g pasta, 75g finely grated pecorino romano, a ladle full of starchy pasta water and black pepper.

Grilled beef patty, sautéed asparagus, Caesar salad and little pan fried concoctions of amaranth and potato with some breadcrumbs, lemon zest, pecorino and parsley. The flavor was OK but I wouldn't make them again as they were more work than they were worth. My partner told me he thought they were weird and would be better deep fried.

Homemade char sieuw pork loin cooked sous vide, minus the Chinatown red food colouring. Stir fried broccoli. Roast courgette for the broccoli hating hubby. Leftover rice from yesterday's takeaway.
