I finally had some colleagues comment on my weight loss.15

I went back to the gym today. It’s been months and I’m happy to say I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and it didn’t kill me!18
-
I did 💯 floors today at home. They’re getting a bit easier to do and I can do them in an hour with 2-3 quick breaks in between. 🥵🙌🏽 I’m happy 😊

So, I went out for a bike ride and did 5 miles. As I was coming in the driveway I see my 11 year old nephews in the driveway with their bikes. They said, wanna go for a bike ride? Not to disappoint I said sure! Hopped back on and we started riding. I heard my nephew say, we should wait for Aunt Kaitie, right as I was passing him! And he said ‘Oh!’ In complete surprise that I was peddling just as fast as they were—which honestly, wasn’t very fast but still, 7 miles and I wasn’t even winded. Wahoo!29

I'm just a few pounds away from closet shopping again. This morning I arrived at work and my pants felt looser around the waist. I thought I had two more holes on my belt, but while adjusting my belt I learned that I am completely out of holes. I'm making progress.27

wore a pair of REGULAR size jeans i found in my closet!!17

I successfully interrupted a a possible binge. I counted out the Cheetos one serving at a time rather than taking the whole bag to the couch! I wanted more but had sugar free gum instead.21

My waist is now 35". Last March, I started MFP at bust= 46", waist=46", hips=49" and now bust and hips=38". Waist will always be bigger due to long term obesity, weight loss and regain and kidney/pancreas surgery(coming up on 12 year anniversary), surgery to remove scar tissue and intestine that was being strangled by scar tissue caused by transplant, 7 MRSA necrotic tissue removals from infection in the transplant incision and one old fashioned gall bladder removal that cut the nerves on that side of my stomach leaving the surrounding tissue lax and larger on that side than the other. But it is 35" AND I am happy to be there.31

I can now run up the stairs with my 3 year old at the play center to go down the slide with! I use to struggle to climb the steps19

Looked in the mirror and saw a big change in a month even though the scale has not moved a lot.18

Down a pants size, and SO close to 15%. Happy Tuesday!14

These shirts are the same brand/style/size just different colors 🙌🏻
I get discouraged feeling like the scale isn’t moving as fast as I feel it should. I love looking back and seeing my progress21 -
tightened my belt one notch this morning.17

I've lost 26% of the weight so far to my goal weight. Feeling very pumped that if I put in the effort I get the results. I can do this!16

My edema is going down significantly, and my legs are almost normal size.29

I put on medium shorts AND a medium shirt and both fit. Guys medium, and it was just T shirt and exercise shorts, but I used to be 1X or more in guys sizes on both. I still have a ways to go but I love seeing that M on the tag!24

I was hanging up clothes out of the dryer last night and panicked that everything had shrunk in the wash. I'm still so new at seeing the new sizes of clothes that I briefly forgot that I'm the one who has been shrinking.28

Another laundry one, i found MY jeans that I had hanging on a hanger in the laundry room crumpled up on the floor. I deduced that my 11 y.o. son took them off the hanger thinking they were his (NSV) and left them on the floor (PNV = parenting Non-Victory) 😆17

I was on my walk and noticed my heart rate just wasn’t as high as I wanted it (Fitbit has 109 as entering my fat burning zone) so I decided to do a tiny jog (still feel too fat to jog in public) but I did about 1/2 mile when I got a notification on my phone that my gps mileage tracker for work picked up a new drive!
That fact that I jogged at all is a huge NSV but that my tracker picked it up too? I was very happy 😊18 -
A1c went from 11.4 in December to 5.9 April 1st. Coincidentally I have lost 30 pounds but my goal is to cut out refined foods and eat fresh veggies like crazy.23

Great visit at the cardiologist. She was thrilled with my bp, my weight loss and increased exercise. I don't need to go back for a year!23

Pandemic home workouts and lack of motivation mean I haven’t squatted my body weight in...over a year? Today did 130x10 as my last set and it felt great! Now to get some safety bars for the squat rack so I can keep going!14
