Oh, peach cobbler! So delicious! I can't blame you! Fortunately for our weight loss plans, the season isn't long!

@chublet25 I got a 25# Peach Truch box and split it with friends — such good peaches!

17: DNW 🥚 Got stung by something last night while sitting at a friend's house. Not positive what it was, but I had a pretty significant reaction within a couple minutes. Most of my forearm was red with a big welt. Then I started to feel really weird, thought I may have a sudden fever because I had cold sweats, my heart rate was 121 (which I didn't know until checking Fitbit this morning), told my friend that something was wrong and that I needed to get inside to the couch. Apparently, after that I stood up, took a couple of steps up onto her front stoop, and stumbled into the front doorway, hitting my head and scraping my knee as I tried to catch myself from completely falling down. She said I kind of crumpled into a sitting position on the stoop and was briefly responsive but then completely fainted. I remember coming to and asking what just happened. She called 911 and had someone come check on me, but thankfully I was feeling much better even in the few minutes it took them to get there. I later ended up having hives on both wrists and my hands were very itchy until I iced them. I've never fainted in my life and have never had a systemic reaction to any type of insect sting or bite, so I'm hoping to see a doctor on Monday for some follow up. Taking it easy and tracking the continual growth of the welt on my forearm today while I get lots of rest, benadryl, and ice.

There's no such thing as failure; only feedback.

It sounds like you had an anaphylactic response to whatever it was that stung you. The anaphylactic shock can cause a drop in blood pressure along with the hives you ended up with. I hope you feel better and I hope your doctor prescribes you epi pens just in case you get stung next time and you're unresponsive for a longer period of time and/or your breathing is affected. I would also ask for allergy testing too. Often times for stinging insects/bees they can do a blood test so you don't have to deal with a skin scratch test.

I grew up with my mom going into anaphylactic shock countless times due to very severe food allergies. It's a scary experience when you don't know what's happening in your body. I hope it gets figured out for you!

7/18 116.6 The last week and a halfish has been crazy catching up with work and my husband has been using my lap top to study for his OT license exam, so I haven’t had access to my lap top during the day. I’ll be catching up on the thread in a few to see what everyone has been up to. I have my second round interview tomorrow and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that one goes well too. Food has been up and down over the past week or so. Most days have been really good and then there are days where I have a bit more than planned. Was happy to see the number on the scale this morning though considering it was 118.4 the other day. I’m creeping into the time of month where I have my largest increase but at least I know to expect it. Have a happy Sunday all!

Good luck on your interview! They must like you already since you made it through round one!
