Whatcha gonna do with him? I have a recipe for snapper. Starts with keeping him alive and feeding him a couple handfuls of hamburger to clean his insides out.

Imma eat him. I’m keeping him alive until the day before I cook him.

Pass it over. I’ll give it a try. I got plenty more to catch too.

I’ve got 2 more NY strip steaks I gotta make first.

So how *do* you cook a turtle?
And how big do you estimate the other one to be?

Soup, stew, deep fried, gumbo, pan fried, grilled, slow cooked… I sound like Bubba Gump.

At least between 20 and 25 pounds. I had him almost on shore and he broke a 30 pound leader to get away last time.

To all the bowling ball grouchy face givers…

They are eating all my game fish. I can’t restock my ponds with the nuisance turtles in them.

How would you like me to relocate them to your neighborhood so they can hop into your ornamental ponds and eat all your ornamental fish? Is that what your bleeding hearts would prefer?

At least they are filling a belly and providing value this way.
