Hello lovely people, I have just rejoined MFP after nearly 7 years and gaining a ton of weight (I gained back all the weight I lost plus more). Friends always help with motivation, support and healthy competition so please feel free to add me if you want 😀 Talk soon.

I’m back after 2 years on the WW app . Now that things are opening up again I’m ready to make that gum & lifestyle commitment ! I’d love to share the journey with you . Have not figured out how to add friends but I need them !9

Lovely hearing back 👌 Below the "Community" tab on your app's dropdown menu, you will find "Reminders" and then "Friends". If you click on that tab, you can either add new people or respond to friend requests. I have just sent you one, hope this helps. Talk soon!4

Just comeback after several years. I've been on SW and it was suggested to me by a friend to try counting calories . So I decided to combine the two but I'm useless arpt working calories out 😄 Hence the reason I'm back 😀 would love to make some friends to share our journeys .4

Well this is interesting . Since I found MaeesaAHHH’s group ( I’m now going to coin her MAH3)😍 I’ve been thrilled to find this little community but my eating habits & drinking have gone from bad to worse ! Up again this morning . To be fair , my car has been in the shop , so my gym routine got shot . Honestly though I do t want to bore you , cause I have a million reasons ! Today though I pledge to MY TEAM that the train wreck stopped yesterday ! Clean eats today ! Thank you all for being on the journey with me !2

Hello. I’m completely new to this platform. I’ve tried a couple of different times to lose weight but nothing stuck. So this time I’m trying something different. Using this platform to track what I’m eating, I joined a gym with a three year contract so I can’t just quit whenever I want, and seeking out a support system in this journey to a happier, healthier me3

Hello, my name is Amy. I gained a lot in 2015-2018 (went from 160 to 190 lb) then slowly climbed up from there to 210 lb pre-covid. I found myself at my max weight of 240 just a month ago. This app has helped in in the past...I was superwoman at tracking food on MFP and took part in challenges for extra motivation...and it helped me lose 50lb at one point!
I decided to start fresh this month and join MFP again, but my newsfeed is so sad. I would love some friends to share this experience with and help motivate each other!7 -
Well today was not perfect but much better than the past few & for once I actually drank water ! The best part was remembering to log & it’s all because I was more aware of the app because of our little band of friends here ! So thank you !3

OMG i missed all these posts! my MFP app has been acting up, the notifications to this thread never really came. I got vottav21's message and then manually came and looked up this thread now. vottav, im so so sorry! i don't have a group yet, but this is a brilliant idea. we can just use this thread to continue posting, it is under the main MFP forum of "introduce yourself" or i can try creating a group (but groups are less successful, more difficult to find n new people cant really comment).4

@MaeesaAHHH , & friends , not going to lie not feeling my best here this morning . Last nights celebratory dinner of champagne & way to salty Thai takeout is challenging me this morning ! I’ve taken a few Tylenol’s & I’m ready to go push thru it . Plan to hit 10,000 steps today & eat clean . One thing I was made aware of this new place needs healthy snacks & food in it . I’m not kidding there aren’t even cabinet doors yet but next visit I need to put healthy shelf stable things in the fridge . Thank god there were waters here from a last visit . Well that’s how you learn right . The market is not close by so planning ahead as usual will be key !1

@vottav21 - I’m in the same boat as you girl. Drank a bit too much beer and ate like shite yesterday and I’m feeling beyond sluggish today. Determined to eat healthy, stay under cals and drink lots of water today.
I’ll be doubting I’ll get 10000 steps in though 😂😂😂
