๐ A warm welcome all new 1st timers to the challenges and hi again to those returning for another month๐
The first time I joined one of these was the best thing I ever done, lost 32 lb in 4 months. Itโs really nice to see how others are getting on and itโs a motivation to keep on track๐
Give yourself a motivation, this seems to work for me, maybe you have a break away booked, Many of us may be heading back to work after a looong break or even a getting ready for a wedding!
Pick your own goal, check in once per week and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better๐

Hi everyone,
This is my first ever challenge on here!
I thought I would join as I saw you all had excellent results last month and I need motivation to finish off my journey of achieving a healthier and lighter me.
I started off at 113kg and my goal is 69kg so not too far away. I'd like to achieve this by 30 March 2022. I hope that's a realistic goal of 3kg per month. I do intermittent fasting 16:8, walk for 45 mins most days and eat healthy during my eating window and keep to 5,000kj per day.
Let's go, huh? Today I walked for 45 mins walk and did a MFP workout. Later today I'm catching up with a friend for a 45min to 1 hour walk so today is covered!

July 31: 267.4. Iโm not even going to weigh myself tomorrow, so weโre starting with todayโs numbers. I was 265.7 yesterday and off my routine today, so my starting weight is a little off. Probably should have been in the 266-range, but it is what it is. Due to a mix up with schedules, weโre eating Olive Garden for lunch both days this weekend (went today when it turns out we were supposed to meet the in-laws there tomorrow. Oops. But our waitress was a former student and she told me I was her favorite teacher and had a huge impact on her life, so thatโs amazing.) Iโm ending this month with a wedding, and I bought my dress for it February of 2020 at 255lbs. I have been working since March to get back to that weight (after gaining 30lbs during Covid). School starts in 3 weeks.

71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

First timer here
I prefer to weigh in on Saturdays.
I'm 48, 5'4", feel 90 and at my heaviest and need to loose weight to help with all my medical issues, I struggle to do exercise and have been shielding for the last 18 months.
My goal is Disneyland, CA in May 2023 for my 50th (and my son's 21st) and want to be able to sit comfortably on the plane for 13 hours.
I have been on MFP previously in 2016 but lapsed, so come back to hopefully loose the weight I lost last time

Life has been difficult this year, and I am fatter than Iโve ever been (except for post pregnancy). Too much wine and comfort food. I have half heartedly tried and failed to get back on track many times, but Iโm feeling ready to give it a proper go again. My plan is to do lots of walking (aiming for 10,000 steps a day), give up wine and practise IF. Hoping this group will give me added motivation. Thanks ๐7 -
