Hi! New to the community but not really MFP. I used it in 2020 with GREAT success! Been using map my walk as well if anyone is interested in being my friend there for accountability my heaviest weight was 310lbs was down in the 190โs and well life happened. Im 5โ5โ and 39. I live at the beach so no excuses for not exercising!

I missed my goal in July. I hit it then in the last week had a medical procedure and gained a ton of water weight. I believe my true July end weight is about 175.5. My goal is based off that. In the last three days Iโve upped my cardio and added strength training.

Total loss for August: Finally looks like I'm making progress again and am down over a half pound for the month. That's better than a half pound gain, but not the two pounds I was looking for. Well, scale weight is down two pounds, so if that trend keeps declining for the next three days, I might end the month on a good note. I'll check in....

First time in a challenge. Started my weight loss at 182.4 on July 5th. I have lost 10.2 lbs in 26 days. Looking forward to finding the motivation here to keep it up. Pulled calories down to 1000/day and following true keto diet.

I have been traveling on and off all summer. Also, I had a really bad ankle sprain which kept me inactive for several weeks. Ankle is all well, and I'm home for a bit before traveling again. I gained some weight, but I'm now putting a stop to that. I almost wasn't going to join the August Challenge; however, I decided to do it. Mostly, because I enjoy these sorts of challenges, and find them quite motivating.๐๐งก7 -

Aug 01: 191.4โฆ..(trend weight 194.6) A good way to start. However, due to an emergency with my well, there was no time to eat very much yesterday so this may not stick. Time will tellโฆ.. Good luck everyone. Lets make August count!
Aug 08: 190.6โฆ..(trend weight 192.6) I am doing okay this month but I practiced some self-sabotage last night. Iโve really got to work on allowing myself to succeed. Luckily I got too full with the late night (extra) meal to eat more. I am still showing a loss since last weigh in. Since I am filled with remorse, guilt and shame today, I will probably do great today. Sad but trueโฆโฆ.
Aug 15: 187.6โฆ..(trend weight 191.1) A good week for weight loss. There was one momentary day that it was up after a travel day, but otherwise, it went well. Lots of other problems, but keeping my diet in line is something I am working very hard at, even during turmoil. No eating my emotions if I can help it!
Aug 22: 185.4โฆ..(trend weight 188.2) A nice loss again this week. I was mainly on point although there are very busy times when I stay within calories and macros but make questionable choices. I need to work on lasting good habits and better choices for better overall health. Iโll take the 2.9 lb loss for sure though!
Aug 29: 188.4โฆ..(trend weight 188.4)A gain this week after a birthday party for DGD and several days of travel/sitting and restaurant meals. Getting back in the home groove today. I am still down 4 pounds from starting weight and my trend weight has finally caught up to my scale weight. I am looking forward to the September challenge. There is still lots of spunk and progress in me!

Aug 29: 231.2 - Once again, this is my highest weight of the week. My body protests weigh in day :P At least I guess I'll show some loss this month, just not what I wanted. I go on a cruise leaving Friday, so no September challenge, but I'm going to do my best to keep the gain low.
