Oooff. I have heard some tales lately.0 -
Having to listen to a man downplay pregnancy hormones and postpartum.
If it were me I’d have him on the floor wondering how he got there.

*Bonk*
I'd wave my abracadabra magic wand and make him live through the whole damn thing, especially morning sickness, minus the original act that got him there to begin with. Then there's the diapers, 2 a.m. feedings, toilet training, etc. JK I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Well, maybe except for the minute long original act.4 -

My dogs respectfully disagree.
I do so miss our doggypuppy. She was much more fun than a shop vac in these situations.
RIP Mallorn. You were a Good Girl.
Why do dogs have to die?🥺😭
I agree.Mallorn definitely had the sweetness vibe going on; picture of a perfect dog right there.

When people respond to receiving invoices by asking you to do more work instead of acknowledging the bill and/or paying it.3

lately... everything. I think I'm reaching the end of my rope, tbh.

also... women who are afraid of muscle. I know it's all a matter of opinion, but honestly, I don't get why there is a such an innate fear of looking strong or having visible muscle.
I wish we could normalize strong backs, shoulders, legs, butts.8 -
Why don't people use turn signals. Aside from being the law, its just common courtesy. Come on people.5

She was The Best.
Dumped on us “until I can convince my landlord to let us keep her” at four months by someone who flaked not long after (turned out to be an extremely toxic “friend” oh BOY do I have stories!)
She was everything yellow labs are famous for. Slobberingly loyal. Devoted to her people and food. “Go for ride?” was her favorite phrase.
A very swift cancer took her down right before Thanksgiving in 2018. Since her buddy Kermit the Dog died of old age two years before, she was our last dog. When my husband’s dementia slips far enough I will get him Hasbro’s animatronic lab puppy. He’s not quite there yet.
Mallorn is buried with Kermit, and many cats, in the back yard under the walnut trees. 💔😢7 -
Right now? The ridiculously long line to check out at TJ Maxx 😑2

When I respond to a post on someone's wall and somehow like is clicked on other peoples posts in the convo and it won't unclick.. it irks me particularly when I don't agree with what the person is saying, yet it appears I do 🙁 irked..6

Facebook's "memory" system.
On the one hand, I like being able to go back and delete things I don't want to see or don't feel represent me anymore (or contain stuff about friends who decided to be *kitten* and ditch me), but.. I don't like being reminded that Galaxy went into the pet hospital a year ago... because I know that in a couple of days, that's the anniversary of her death.
And yeah, she's a cat and blah, blah, blah.. but she was special (to me) and I still miss her terribly.12 -

Hugs.
And ya. Facebook. Irks me on the daily.

I hear you. Yesterday was the anniversary of the day we brought Bolt home. 4 years ago. We didn't even get to share 4 years together. 😖
Also find the memories hard because of all the pics of my child before he identified as trans. Sometimes it raises grief in my soul for the daughter that is no longer, even though I fully love the son that now is. Wish FB just "knew".. Like Google knows my search history. Haha6 -

Facebook shows me the two year anniversary of my kid’s wedding. Tells me to share it. But I can’t share it because I’m Zukked. Again.
I’m always getting Zukked.
For stuff like sharing a meme that I found on Facebook that is a fake valentine of Jeffery Dahlmer saying “you’re so cute I could eat you up”
Obviously that is a dark joke. Not an actual promotion of nasty things.
I even got thirty days earlier this year for answering a question in a cooking and recipe group with the word “fat”
A situationally appropriate word. In context it made total sense.
Nope. Facebook called it bullying.2 -

Sounds about right. My partner is in nearly perma-FB brig because of the meme groups and various things he's part of. Every time, it's for something really, really dumb. At no time was it ever an actual insult, bullying or hate speech.
Sad thing is, you can't even really contest it because the algorithm picks it up and when you go to discuss with a person about it, no person is ever available.
Honestly, if my family members on the other side of the country didn't still use the service, I would ditch it.2 -

Yep. Meme groups. 🤣
Me. Going to FB jail again.

I am currently irked by people who don’t have a specific disability speaking about how easy it is for others who have that disability.
Very much grrrr please don’t talk about things you have zero experience with.6 -
I'm irked as to how 'some "boobies" are subject...
...like what is the criteria for 'ok' "boobies" to be posted vs not? Especially where "boobies" of all sorts are prominent and frequently displayed in the (basically) (half time) "boobie" thread?
- what amount of cleave is acceptable and not reprimandable?
Is it gender specific?
seemes to be + a bit of subjective (not fair)
...and why?
Why are man boobies fine to display?
What is your criteria MFP - and why shame?

Not really an irk, but there is not a "What would you change if you could" thread....
When you post a comment on a friend's wall, and instead of answering you on your wall, they answer on their wall. Then a couple days later, you are on their wall, and see that they responded to you over there and you missed it, and you had a really awesome comment or comeback to their response, but its too late, and too far down their wall, and you just miss out on that opportunity. So, guys, if someone posts something on your wall and you want to respond, go to THEIR wall to respond, so they get the full effect in real time. Please, and Thank You!9 -
