September is just around the corner, and it’s time to get logging consistently again. I fight logging, but when I do it, I lose weight. I also do better when I weigh in each day.

Let’s try this together for September, and see what happens. Everyone is welcome to jump in and join anytime… and feel free to start before September to get a head start.

    Ok… today was my first day of logging in a long time… and even though I was over my calories, it felt good to be honest with myself.

    I did weight in this morning as well. I may try and burn off some calories by doing laundry and finishing vacuuming the house.

    Progress not perfection.

    Good morning,

    I completed my logging from yesterday and had a great weigh in. My daughter started her first day of her Senior year in high school yesterday, so she and I are getting up at 6am. I make her breakfast and lunch then catch up with MFP and watch the sunrise.

    I’ve got a stay-cation at home this week mostly for my husband, my daughter, and I to spend time with our son before he heads back to college this weekend to start his junior year.
    Time goes so fast!

    Hi Jill, I'll join you 🙂 I always find August difficult weight wise as its the month that I usually go on holiday and also my birthday so in a way I'll be glad to put it behind me! Planning a trip to New York in October (I'm in UK) and I really want to be able to feel confident in my own skin by then. I'm aiming for a 10 pound loss but will be happy with 5.     Hello everyone!!!
    I would like to join this challenge. I have been slowly gaining back my weight. I have reading the comments and found them motivating.

    My highest weight has been 205lbs
    My lowest weight in the last 20 years was 145lbs.
    My current weight is 185lbs
    I have had success tracking my food and with intermittent fasting.
    I would like to lose 6lbs in September so I can get below 180 lbs.
    I will promise myself to step on the scale every day.

    08/25 – …..187.0…..(Trend Weight: 188.5) Down a bit today. I know yesterday could have been filled with better choices and no last minute snacks. I will be traveling today so I will be eating dinner out which usually causes an uptick. I will push water and make up for any overages in the coming days. I am 100% committed to enjoying life, but getting healthy too!

    Today i weighed in at 215.5…

    Weight lost for September challenge so far:

    ✔️Daily weigh in completed

    I didn’t weigh in yesterday until after lunch, but I did weigh in and complete my log yesterday.

    I spent most of the day yesterday worrying about my 9 year old Golden Retriever named Roxie. She’s had 2 hard days in a row. The vet said she has a bad UTI and she is now taking antibiotics. She’s not eating much, but I was able to get her to take her medicine via peanut butter on a spoon. I just hope she gets more rest today to beat this.

    08/26 – …..188.4…..(Trend Weight: 188.5) Thank Goodness for trends because the scale really jumped after the travel yesterday. I feel very sluggish today-no energy. A result of my bad eating and my sugar ingestion yesterday. As a T2D, I knew this was bound to happen and I didn’t listen to my own reasoning. Today I pay the price. Pushing water, walking and all healthy low cal and lower carb choices today. Part of my new lifestyle is to treat my body well after I’ve screwed up. Today is “be good to Donna day”. I will be eating right.

    Thanks Jill. I am stuck in a rut. I need to look at what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong in my calorie reduction.
