08/28 - 225.6 I'm claiming every ounce. I've earnt it. Logged everything and been on track with my meals and snacks all week. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of Shiraz last night, all within a reasonable calorie count. Resisted tempations to snack on unhealthy crap, which is a big thing for me. My cherry tomatoes growing in my greenhouse have been my go to and they taste delicious.3 -

I was still under caloric allotment and was able to walk a good walk. I feel good and I’ll be up with the sun tomorrow to do a little stay-cation with my husband and 2 girls before school starts at a local theme park. I’m sure I’ll be walking all sorts of places and getting in walking as well as some swimming at the water park.
Nice going! My daughter’s favorite pizza in the entire world is Pizza Hut pizza. We were at Pizza Hut when I was 9 months pregnant with her and that was the last thing I ate before she was born.
Have a great staycation and enjoy the amusement park! My husband and I met when we were both working at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH back in 1993. Amusement parks are awesome!

✔️Logged and weighed in yesterday.
Today we’ll finish packing up my son for his move-in tomorrow. We got a lot done yesterday.
My daughter’s boyfriend moves into college today, so she’s pretty sad about that and her brother moving back to school.
Today we’re under a heat advisory, so I feel an afternoon family swim coming on before tomorrow’s moving madness. On top of that, there isn’t any air conditioning in his on- campus apartment. I feel a fabulous workout coming on!

My name is Donna. I am 5’ 5” tall, 60 years old and from the Midwest USA. In 2016 I weighed 253 lbs. I am on a journey of health and to get back to the real me.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Goal: xxxxx (Six lb Loss): 181.4
08/24 – …..187.4…..(Trend Weight: 188.6) Thanks to Jill for offering this challenge! I am hoping to lose about 5 pounds per month but I added an extra pound (total 6) because I am starting in August. I, too, lose more weight when I log my food and exercise so I am hoping that doing so daily will keep me accountable. Good luck to all!
08/25 – …..187.0…..(Trend Weight: 188.5) Down a bit today. I know yesterday could have been filled with better choices and no last minute snacks. I will be traveling today so I will be eating dinner out which usually causes an uptick. I will push water and make up for any overages in the coming days. I am 100% committed to enjoying life, but getting healthy too!
08/26 – …..188.4…..(Trend Weight: 188.5) Thank Goodness for trends because the scale really jumped after the travel yesterday. I feel very sluggish today-no energy. A result of my bad eating and my sugar ingestion yesterday. As a T2D, I knew this was bound to happen and I didn’t listen to my own reasoning. Today I pay the price. Pushing water, walking and all healthy low cal and lower carb choices today. Part of my new lifestyle is to treat my body well after I’ve screwed up. Today is “be good to Donna day”. I will be eating right.
08/27 – DNW. Forgot to step on the scale before I started drinking cups of coffee. Early travel today to take a friend for a medical procedure. I’ll be eating at the hospital cafeteria. Hopefully something on the healthy side…..
08/28 – …..188.4…..(Trend Weight: 188.4) Scale weight the same but trend weight down slightly. I didn’t do to bad considering the huge amount of sitting during the travel and the food away from home. Today I hope to be back on track with my carefully planned meals at home. Thunderstorms are raging and expected rain all day. Renovation workers will be here all day and evening so there is a serious lack of inside privacy. My house has stairs so I will focus on go up and down all day just for steps and exercise.

08/29 - 224.6 Yesterday I had a few ice cold Corona's, which went down a treat after I finally tackled trimming the overgrown hedges and mowing the side lawn. Arms are aching today.
I've been watching the Paralympics this weekend, which is inspiring me to keep on track. Today I am visiting family. Dinner will be pork roast with all the trimmings. I'm on Yorkshire pudding duty 👍🏻2 -
OK my week was a binge of eating out. So my weight went the opposite direction.
I was at 185 lbs but now as of
August 29th 187 lbs
But I did force myself to step on the scale to see the damage.1 -

08/29 – …..188.4…..(Trend Weight: 188.4) Stuck on this weight apparently. 3 hours sleep last night probably didn’t help. Otherwise, yesterday was a very good day. I easily closed all my circles on fitbit and was in the green on MFP. Hopefully I will see a change show up tomorrow. Sometimes it takes a couple of day either way.

Good Morning friends,
We’ve got 2 days until the official start of our September challenge, and I’m ready for it. This past weeks jump start… for those of us starting early… has given me insight into my eating habits.
With packing and moving my son back into college this past week. I’ve realized that I’m an emotional cleaner and eater. I both stress clean and stress eat chips…but I think by logging, I was better able to let the stress eating not get totally out of control. The positive result is that my house and cars are clean! Mind you, I’ve been over my allotted calorie goals all week, but I didn’t jump off the deep end. This is contained chaos. 😂
Yesterday I did log everything and weigh-in.
I’m down a little from yesterday, so I see this as a win!

08/30 – …..189.2…..(Trend Weight: 189.2) A couple of small snacks last night put me over the calorie limit, otherwise it was a very disciplined day (but a lazy movement day). Staying on track today and keeping some of my calories in the balance today in case it happens again tonight. Preparation is key!
