First time in a challenge. Started my weight loss at 182.4 on July 5th. I have lost 10.2 lbs in 26 days. Looking forward to finding the motivation here to keep it up. Pulled calories down to 1000/day and following true keto diet.
Aug Start Weight: 172.4

So excited that I have lost 22 lbs since July 5th! My husband, age 62, has lost 54! Healthier together! Tomorrow is 20 years married and looking forward to 20 more healthier years together!6 -

Aug 01: 191.4β¦..(trend weight 194.6) A good way to start. However, due to an emergency with my well, there was no time to eat very much yesterday so this may not stick. Time will tellβ¦.. Good luck everyone. Lets make August count!
Aug 08: 190.6β¦..(trend weight 192.6) I am doing okay this month but I practiced some self-sabotage last night. Iβve really got to work on allowing myself to succeed. Luckily I got too full with the late night (extra) meal to eat more. I am still showing a loss since last weigh in. Since I am filled with remorse, guilt and shame today, I will probably do great today. Sad but trueβ¦β¦.
Aug 15: 187.6β¦..(trend weight 191.1) A good week for weight loss. There was one momentary day that it was up after a travel day, but otherwise, it went well. Lots of other problems, but keeping my diet in line is something I am working very hard at, even during turmoil. No eating my emotions if I can help it!
Aug 22: 185.4β¦..(trend weight 188.2) A nice loss again this week. I was mainly on point although there are very busy times when I stay within calories and macros but make questionable choices. I need to work on lasting good habits and better choices for better overall health. Iβll take the 2.9 lb loss for sure though!
Aug 29: 188.4β¦..(trend weight 188.4)A gain this week after a birthday party for DGD and several days of travel/sitting and restaurant meals. Getting back in the home groove today. I am still down 4 pounds from starting weight and my trend weight has finally caught up to my scale weight. I am looking forward to the September challenge. There is still lots of spunk and progress in me!
Aug 31: 186.8β¦..(trend weight 188.3) Iβm happy to see this back down a bit after much travel this past week. Todayβs weight is not my low for the month, but it is 5.6 pounds lower than start of challenge. That met my goal and I am a doing a happy dance right now. Summer has been good to me overallβ¦ Congrats to all who met their personal goals of all types.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Didn't make my goal weight this month but still lost 3.4lbs, so I'm happy with that. It's a slow process but a loss is a loss and I'm down 30.6lbs this year. Looking forward to September, I will more than likely get more walking in as well being on the go more since ringette season starts for my girls (hoping we can make it past tryouts this year and it doesn't get shutdown).5 -

71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

I missed my goal in July. I hit it then in the last week had a medical procedure and gained a ton of water weight. I believe my true July end weight is about 175.5. My goal is based off that. In the last three days Iβve upped my cardio and added strength training.
