    9/5 - 222.6 - UGH!!! I'm really not happy with the scale today since I was really strict with my nutrition yesterday; however, I'm hoping it's bloating due to my monthly visitor coming any day now. I'm still mad tho!

    9/7 - 221.8 - I have to figure out something to stop eating that one little bag of Cool Ranch Doritos with 3 oreos at night! Any suggestions for the late night snacker while watching tv??

    9/01- 135.2 / 134.8 trend - up one pound from yesterday. A lot of mindless stress eating last night.
    9/02- 135.2 / 134.8 trend - Pizza last night so sodium was up. Hopefully see a change tomorrow
    9/03- ???? / 134.8 trend - Overslept and didn't step on the scales before I started rushing around.
    9/04- 132.2 / 134.1 trend - Stepped on the scale about a dozen times. Got this number every time but one. Not sure how it happened. Ate ok yesterday, low steps, no work out. I donated blood. Can't imagine that would cause a 2 pound drop. I like the number though!
    9/05- ???? / 134.1 trend - Did not weigh. Away from home. No scale. Spent the day at an amusement/water park. A lot of walking but not the best food. Hoping the two counteract each other.
    9/06- 133.8 / 134.1 trend - Much better than I expected. Yesterday was full of French toast, pizza, fries and ice cream! Wonderful day though.

    9/09 - 136.4 / 134.3 trend - was expected. Mexican restaurant for dinner last night. Over did it. Darn chips! Back on track today and will be working at flushing that added weight off.

    9/12 - DNW - was out of town visiting my daughter in college. Ate out twice today, scales won't be happy
    9/13 - 136.6 / 134.8 trend - Too many meals eaten out this weekend and no tracking. Screwed up my goal this month of tracking everything, every day. Back on track today. Need to be vigilant all week. Festival in town this weekend and it will be tough to stay on track again. Need to fix this weekends damage before going into the next.

    9/15 - 134.8 / 134.9 trend - 3+ mile walk last night as well as an upper body dumbbell workout. I was feeling motivated last night. I also did a bit of cleaning. Hope it continues

    Goal: truly give up gluten and avoid it (not allergic, just pick up many pounds of fluid for days)

    9/1 - 191.4 (result of gluten)
    9/2 - 189.4 85min walk last night w/ a Hallmark movie, today planning on a Y workout
    9/3 - 188.0 last night's workout felt good, it's been too long. Pounding water today to keep flushing things thru. Planning a lunch walk w/ the dogs.
    9/4 - weighed but forgot to log, and now I don't remember lol

    9/7 - 189.8 lovely walk yesterday while watching a Hallmark movie. Youngest son is getting tested for covid today, he's not feeling well and his close co-worker was confirmed yesterday. Which is really upsetting me because I'm supposed to go to a work conference and fly out next Friday. Obviously if he's positive I'm not going. Also, I'm coming to the realization that I'm not actually trying to lose weight. I typically focus during the week and then make bad food choices every weekend. I'm actually in maintenance, and the scale shows it. So if he's not sick and I go to the conference, then I have a new game plan for the minute I return. And if he is sick and I stay home then I have a new game plan for as soon as he's confirmed. Regardless, I have a plan. And I am walking again today, avoiding the Y workouts until I know if he's sick or not.
    9/8 - 189.8 another walk yesterday during a Hallmark movie, planning a shorter walk today because I'm walking myself into a blister.
    9/9 - 191.4 no exercise yesterday, too much sodium. Going to push water today.
    9/10 - 190.4 keep on flushing!
    9/11 - 190.4 Never Forget!

    I am Dawn, 60, 5'2"
    I gained a bit of weight in June and July, even more in August, which I started at 132.9. My goal is to get that off and beyond.
    Before that I averaged a 1 pound weight loss each month throughout this journey.

    Wednesday 9/1 - 134.0 - Looking forward to lots of Autumn walks in nature

    9/3 - 135.3 - Self-induced, indulgence.

    9/5 - 136.3 - Way too high. Possibly still climbing from one indulgent day.
    9/6 - 135.5 - Right direction, but it never feels good to be above the start weight.

    9/9 - 134.1 - Late dinners from long workdays the last couple, but burned a crapload of calories on my feet waitressing
    9/10 - 133.7 -Ditto to yesterday, burned a lot, but ate dinner late.
    9/11 - 134.1 - I see that I put the wrong number in yesterday, fixed it. Day off today, plan on being active.
    9/12 - DNW - Up at 3am drinking water and then coffee. Didn't bother weighing.
    9/13 - 137.8 - Wow, that is really high! I haven't seen this number since last November. Nobody said that this would be easy, but I am hoping that is is a temporary blip.

    71 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... :D...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

    I am a walker 4 or 5 days a week 5 mile journeys. Dun...dun...dun...July 30th I tripped on the sidewalk and face-planted hard. My knee is angry, and I sprained my ankle. Everything is slowly getting better, but I am pretty much chair bound for a while.

    I take my waist measurement at the widest place around the love handles/below the belly button. I also do periodic skinfold tests to check my % fat loss, since that's really my goal rather than just scale weight since that doesn't tell the whole story.

    9/01 - 137.5, 34.5" waist, 3 mile run, good eating day
    9/02 - 137.8, 35.25" waist - might be bloated? just going to stick with the plan

    9/8 - 139.2, coming out of a weekend slump, but doing all the motivation things to get back on track.
