Wow! @chublet25 - It's not only the amount of weight you've lost that astounds me (even though that too is so impressive), but the way you pound it out (no pun intended) each and every round with no set-backs. Whatever keeps you going, congratulations on your progress thus far and I would say keep it up but I think that's a foregone conclusion after what you've done the last 120 days!! Very inspiring!!15 -
@matratazola, I'm so very sorry to hear that your Dad has stomach cancer. I'll pray for him.

Really good run yesterday, pushed the pace super hard! Today is supposed to be a Rest Day, but have a strength workout to make-up that I skipped on Thursday. The scale has stalled at 163 since the beginning of the last round but I can see body changes and clothes are fitting looser, so all is good!
9/20: 162.9
Very good day yesterday with food & exercise! Going to make this a great week

9/20-172-Insanely busy week last week, no time for exercise and was on my feet most of the time. Got all of the laundry done yesterday and cooked extra food that’s healthy. It shouldn’t be to hot today, so I should be able to fit everything in...we’ll see!
9/21-169-Walked 5 miles, ate the healthy food I prepped, rode the horse and quilted. Drank lots of water too!12 -
@matratazola so sorry to hear about your Dad. Hugs.
@quiltingjaine hoping your toe is better soon!

Ultimate goal: 98 lbs (subject to change)
SW (starting over--May 24, 2021): 160.3I started mfp on 2/20/11 at 160.2 lbs.
My lowest weight on mfp was 140 lbs in 11/2013 and 5/2014.
My highest weight ever: 168+ (and I wasn't even pregnant at that time... ) That was in 12/2016.
Just for the record used to be an athlete a long, long time ago. Used to teach Aerobics and Step Aerobics. Used to LOVE exercise.
Nowadays, I don't exercise at all. Why, oh why not? How can I go from loving exercise and doing tons of exercise to nothing at all?
Going from low blood pressure to being on medication for high blood pressure. What have I done to myself?!

Round 160 EW 158.4

Round 163 Goals: Go to bed earlier & get up earlier. Drink at least 40 oz of water. Exercise. Stick with menu plans as closely as possible even if my day gets changed up... and plan every day, if at all possible. Weight goal: end this round below 158 lbs.
I know that I keep blowing it, but I also know that I "can do" it!!! And, I know that I will!!!
Day/Weight/Comment
9/19 157 Wow! I already met my goal!
Well, if I can sustain this until the end of this round. I'll be happy. If I can get down to 156.6, I will be thrilled as that was what I was at in the middle of Round 162. I did follow food plan, yesterday, and drank my minimum of water. No exercise, tho.
9/20 157 Very stressed out to the point of shaking. Dad still in hospital... issues. Stuck with food plan yesterday. Drank 48 oz of water (above my minimum), No formal exercise, but did have over 11,000 steps yesterday.
9/21 154.8 wow! Did not expect that so weighed again. Same tame. Put scale up, then weighed again almost 10 minutes later. Exactly the same! I’m happy about it, but did not have such a good food day yesterday. No exercise yesterday. Did have minimum water & felt like I slept better, although still not enough sleep. Another very stressful day!!! Das had different dr today & problems with this dr. Ghah! He’s now been in the hospital since September 10th. Lost most of my afternoon to phone calls with drs & hospital. Unable to work, altho was at work…

9/20 202.3 I feel like I am fighting off stress with a club and I am losing the fight. I know I have to get my head together in order to lose weight and my head is not together right now. Maybe I should be working on maintenance instead of attempting to lose because right now I am so discouraged. Trauma is not something you just get over and I am trying to just get over it. I am still trying to watch my calories intake, I am still doing my workout routine. However cortisol (stress hormone) is a beast.

@starrjulia8, I'm sorry that you've been suffering with high cortisol stress. I do too along with adrenal fatigue. I had a horrible bout of it 2 years ago. I've been meaning to say something to you, but mine is so bad that I can't even read about someone else's stress without it affecting me. I take a B complex supplement, methyl B12 along with an adrenal support blend of ashwagandha, rhodiola, some other herbs I can't think of right now. If the stress hits you in your gut, like a rolling boil, just get up, walk around and do deep breathing exercises until the feeling subsides. ❤
Afterthought~ If you're trying to follow a keto diet during this time, sad to say it's not going to work. Keto and high cortisol don't play well together. Better to just take care of the stress and do your best with exercise.8 -

Been working from home for about 18 months. Might not be much advice here, but I'll put in what I do.
If it is possible, I try to take meetings walking or standing. Some meetings I can just be on the phone and walk around (front yard, backyard, pace the house). Some require me to be on the computer. If it's possible (AKA BF not cooking/eating lunch), I'll take my computer to the dining room since our cabinets separating kitchen/dining area are tall enough and I can stand while I watch the presentation. Not much, but better than sitting. Plus, I can't stand still so I'm constantly shifting. (downside is I'm staring at my kitchen so I really have to focus on work to avoid mindless snacking)9 -

9/20 - DNW - totally forgot - I will remember tomorrow!
9/21 - 207.7 - new to working from home and trying to get more steps in - would welcome any ideas of how to get those NEAT steps in that used to come from walking to a far bathroom or having to go find someone to chat.

What kind of work? In front of a computer or at a desk, I’m guessing? Could you possibly set aside 5 minutes or so every hour to get up and walk around the house for those 5 minutes? Can you do your work standing/walking in place?9 -
@tiabirdie56 Thanks for the info. I am not doing Keto but I will look into supplements as an option. For me I have been working on my mental health, but maybe there is something that can help in a non-medical way.5

Awe, thanks. How kind you are! I am really motivated. Today I caught sight of myself in a big mirror in a washroom at work, and I did a double take. OMG, I look a lot better! My belly has got a lot smaller and my hips a lot narrower. My arms fit into sweaters that used to be annoyingly tight.
Still nearly 25 pounds to go to reach my goal, but I have stayed on target all the way along and hope to hit my ultimate target by Christmas. I am admittedly tired but I am hanging in there. I am just 0.2 pounds off losing 1/3 of my body mass. I know that I should probably scale the loss back, but I can't seem to do it! I just want to keep going! Don't worry, I have a plan to ease back into my new reality in the end! The weight is NOT going back on.
But thanks again! Positive feedback means a lot to me, because I live alone, with no close family, so I don't get support from others (and my dogs don't care!)

Very inspiring!!
