September starting weight: 137.5
September staring waist: 34.5"
September goal weight: 133.5
September goal waist: 33.5"
Ultimate goal: 128 lbs, 32" waist
I take my waist measurement at the widest place around the love handles/below the belly button. I also do periodic skinfold tests to check my % fat loss, since that's really my goal rather than just scale weight since that doesn't tell the whole story.
9/01 - 137.5, 34.5" waist, 3 mile run, good eating day
9/02 - 137.8, 35.25" waist - might be bloated? just going to stick with the plan
9/6 - 140

9/8 - 139.2, coming out of a weekend slump, but doing all the motivation things to get back on track.

9/17 - 138.2 - starting to get sick of this number, maybe tomorrow will be a breakthrough

9/29 - 138.2 - I feel thinner, so it's possible I may have added muscle this month. Taking measurements tomorrow so I'll know for certain what is going on.
9/30 - 137.5. Took final measurements and it appears that I put on a pound of muscle this month. Ending at 18.6% body fat. Waist measurement fluctuated from 34.5" to 35", but now I'm back down to 34.25" so feeling good going into October. See you next month!5 -

Hello again, everyone!!
My name is Ana. Some months after my husband passed away I was at my highest weight (180 lbs). I was 175 lbs when I started with MFP 5+ years ago. Using MFP I was able to get back to a healthy weight through diet and exercise and I kept the weight off for years.
Unfortunately, Corona times were tough on me (in many ways) and on June 16th on a visit to the doctor I learned that I was up to 156.4 lb so I am back to this community to encourage myself to reach 121 lb by the end of July of 2022.

10/02: 141.2 (- 1.2) This week I didn't try too hard and even had rest days from morning exercise. Still, I kept moving and my "indulging" choices were on the healthy side. Im so proud of myself!
