Iβll get the ball rolling:
Iβm Jill. Iβm 5β8β tall and my first goal is to get under 200 pounds. At 51 it has become harder to drop the weight, but I am determined to get there. My ultimate and hopefully maintainable goal is 185 poundsβ¦. So Iβve got about 26 more pounds to lose. Iβve lost 22.4 so far.

Iβm Ashley, will be turning 35 on Nov 1 and my goal is to enter that year not only in the overweight BMI category (vs the obese I'm in now) but also under 200 pounds. My longer term goal is to get to 168 which would be 125 pounds lost.

I am Tim, 57 years old. Just getting started. Starting weight 119 kilos, current 116.5, goal 90 kilos. (not sure of the pounds, but sure it is too many).
My goals for October are simply to get into the habit of tracking, weighing, and daily walks. At this point the numbers are not very important. I know the early days are deceptively easy. (2 kilos this week - about 5 lbs)
I do not see a way of editing posts, so do we make a new post each day, or just one at the end of the month? π3 -

Hi Everyone! I'm Heather, 5β3β and 55 years young! I've been yo-yo-ing with my Weight, Body Fat and Muscle Mass this past year due to lack of consistency with tracking in MFP and of course not eating properly. I need this challenge to be disciplined again. I'm very happy that I stumbled across this group!!! Thank you to whomever started it.

OK going to try this again. I am 61 married woman and like many dealing with many challenges that involve caring for others. I did not lose any weight in the September weigh in challenge but I did a lot of reflection on the why's. I was actually scared to get on the scale every day because I was seeing large weight gains and losses in a one day period. So I am going to try this again and overcome my fear. Also, month of September I have reconfirmed the fact that I am an emotional eater. Our family has had two deaths and two people that have serious illness. So I deal with stress by eating and drinking. Sorry gang to be a downer but I read somewhere if you write it down it will help. My goal is to lose 5lbs this month and weigh in every day.
