Started back today after 14 months during which I gained 86#, mostly from stress eating. Just doing semi-well today is the only NSV I've had in over a year.

We are here to complain and whine and celebrate together, @ShatteredLady !! Thanks for sharing. you're doing amazing.
My scale is also being a jerk, though I have not come nearly so far as you have. I will gladly take the NSV of being able to run up the stairs and assist the CEO this morning when her key didn't work. Six months ago I would have had to go to a different part of the building to take the elevator to assist her!17 -
Kind of a scale victory but I have reached more than halfway now to my goal! Increased my elliptical today from 130 to 140 minutes. Got to 11 miles!22

Got my new pants in the mail today. They're size 34 and they fit! Going from a size 46 to 34 in a little less than a year just blows my mind. 😲42

I have actually started going back INTO grocery stores to do my shopping. I started the online/pick up a year ago and found it pretty helpful in keeping me away from impulse less than healthy purchases that I only wanted because they were there. And. the 'get what I want and get out' has stuck. Just with added label reading and looking for sale stickers.
That feels like a big win.28 -
My NSV today is that all of my clothes are far too big.
Everything down to my underwear 😁
It's getting expensive!
I don't want to spend a lot of money on a new wardrobe because I'm not at goal yet.
I might have a look around the charity shops this weekend to see if I can find some smaller bargains 😁

My nsv is that I caught myself using food and spending to comfort my anxiety. Focused on the positives in my life and the things that I can control like weighing and logging. This halts the weight gain and instills a sense of control and accomplishment. Read on here that obesity is considered a chronic, relapsing illness so do not want to slip into the mindset and habits that led to weight gain.18

Went to a work gathering today for happy hour (been working from home since March 2020). Although I was planning on only having one drink, I had two because it was so much fun catching up with everyone, I stayed longer than planned and it would have been rude to refuse. Although there were platters of yummy appetizers I didn't eat any and I still came in under my calorie goal for the day even with the second drink (yay for vodka & seltzer).23

I feel lighter on my feet. I walk a lot and yesterday I noticed that my feet and legs still felt good at the end of the day. I then focussed on on how my feet feel and realised that the soles of my feet didn’t feel as pressed into my shoes somehow - it’s hard to describe exactly, but I felt literally lighter on my feet 😂30

I developed a bit of a mobility issue with my left knee and IT band. Which I learned was due to lack of movement during lockdowns
As of last week I'm doing squats again. Yippee : )19 -
14 days in. My mom/carer noticed a difference when I took my sweater off for an injection in my arm. I thought she was lying. Didn't believe her at all.
A few hours later and right before I step into my shower, I look in the mirror (naked) to locate & take of the bandaid from the injection site. I turn to my side to see the place on my upper arm better, glance away from the bandaid as I take it off and 😳👀😱 there totally IS a difference. She wasn't being nice or lying. My upper back & shoulders look way more defined than before, less fat is there but you can see there's muscle development.
Naturally I talked myself into believing it was only bc my muscles where still sore and swollen from the workout I did that morning. So when I wake up in the morning I check again and omg. I can also see a difference in my jawline/second chin...
Didn't expect it at all but I'm so happy about having visual results already.28 -
Walked 4.2 miles today. Longest walk ever!30

Ssshhh literally was able ton got in my wife’s pants. I was like WTF!!! 🤣
Photos or it didn’t happen!
Seriously, best NSV I’ve seen and I’ve read every. last. one.
A year into maintenance, and I still have NSVs. I loved someone’s comment a week or so ago that it’s like being a baby and discovering your body!
My contributions:
1.) shaved under my arms and checked when I got out of the tub. I had “soul patches” under each. They sure are harder to get to, thinner!
2.) a lady stopped me after yoga yesterday and told
me “You have a beautiful practice”. That meant an awful lot to someone who couldn’t do many poses a couple years ago.
3.) walking home from yoga, some young dude leaned out a pickup passenger window and screamed “I love you!” Not sure how to take that, so I’ll enjoy it as a compliment.
4.) I’m trying to up my game dressing, outside my beloved crazy colored leggings, and as a result I’ve ordered smaller clothing even than what I’d been wearing. I’ve gotten dressed several times this week and been really pleased with what I saw in the mirror. I looked fashionable and unique, and everything fit like a glove. That hasn’t happened for many, many years.
I like me again, and I find myself walking around with a sloppy grin, and giving clerks and passerby’s the sunniest smiles I can.

I work in a factory as a sewing machine operator, and most of the people I work with are much smaller than I am. I've never been able to completely do up my work uniform as my hips were too wide, and it made me feel sloppy and less professional--but after 3 months of dieting I can do up all five snaps (and have them stay closed when I sit!) and it really makes me feel better. Now I'm looking forward to the day my uniform is too big!35

I bet that’s why the guy shouted ‘I Love You!’ to you. Your happiness is shining out and you are beautiful to behold 😊13 -
My NSV is that despite this month being a mess, with no time/motivation to workout or even track my calories...I am maintaining, not gaining!26
-
I did 151 minutes on my Elliptical today. Did an extra minute to achieve 12 miles!22

I noticed that I have lost enough weight that my stomach does not control how I walk anymore. I am still heavy and not even half way to my goal but I am nearly at 50# lost and I can feel it in how I walk and how I react to things that get in my way, or changes in direction etc.25

Forgot to wear a belt today to work and continually had to keep pulling my jeans up….luckily not a lot of people at the office soooo no one noticed BUT NSV for the win!!28

Kind of a scale victory: Went on vacation for a week. Traveled, no scale, did terrible at tracking calories due to eating out/ other people's cooking. Came home a pound lighter.
Victory #2: While on vacation, went on 4 mile walks with a relative most mornings, was able to keep up and continue being active the rest of the day.26
