I'm lying on my back (orthopedic cushion cradling my tush as otherwise my tailbone hurts) with my legs crossed at the knees AND MY LOWER LEGS ARE PARALLEL not crossed.7

Yesterday I went swimming and felt good about wearing a suit in public, at a water Zumba class, for the first time in many many many years. The person I was with was not as comfortable with themselves. I had to hear more than I wanted to hear. She commented on how tiny I was a number of times. Once she even said I looked like I was 15. I had to tell her that I just got out of the overweight range and when I was 15, I probably weighed 30 lbs less. Btw I am 61, for the readers here. Sometime I will ask if looking 15 is a compliment or not? Cuz I am wondering..... I did say that we need to get in the kind of shape where we are happier with ourselves and have more confidence. I complimented here genuinely on a number of things. She also said that she thinks I don't realize how tiny that I am. I do know that I have more to go. I am happy that I have lost a fair amount. I still have goals and that is ok. I do not feel they are unrealistic. I just went there to have fun and forget about problems for awhile.......Need to rethink these outings.13

I think it was a compliment. She sounds like someone who is aching to see the success you have had for herself, but perhaps not sure how to get there? So a compliment with a tinge of envy and perhaps despair if she's really unhappy with herself10 -
I can tie my shoe laces with ease. 25 pounds ago, it was more like a yoga pose.

What a great thread 😊
I can relate to a lot of what's already been said - but the biggest one for me is how much lighter I feel in general - I recently did a 20 mile bike ride that I remember doing at 232lbs tgat nearly killed me - now at nearly 50lbs lighter it was so easy!

the memory foam in my shoes used to act as a cushion to absorb the shock to my knees and feet when walking, now it feels like they give me a bounce in my step! (101 down - 99 to go!)23

My dog is much happier and way more active since I don't struggle during walks anymore. Definitely didn't expect that to happen 🤣12

My tailbone hurts. Why are all the seats so hard?!7

LOL!! I was just complaining this weekend to my husband that I am always so cold anymore. Between 42lbs of weight loss and controlling my BP, I have a feeling this winter is going to be a cold one for me, for the first time in a long while!4 -
When my daughter spends the night at a friend's, I take her dog (chihuahua/pug mix) because he hates to be alone. I've always endured having him sleep with me, bc the boy is a tiny but mighty space heater, and I didn't need the warmth! Last night, though, I found my feet seeking the warmth, as I am not the furnace I used to be.
Another fifty pounds and I'll probably have to get my own dog.18 -

One of our cats always sleeps curled up against my feet - keeps him happy and my feet warm all night long.5 -
Being in between sizes kinda sucks. I've lost 44 pounds since April and dropped 2+ shirt sizes, and it's becoming a nightmare figuring out what size to get. I'm basically a size L, but some L's don't fit right and I have to get an XL, or in one case a L was almost too big, but the M was just a bit snug. I worry about clothes shrinking in the wash, which makes it extra tough for me. Honestly, it was easier shopping when I was bigger (not that I have any intention of putting that weight back on again, cuz I absolutely do not!).
Oh well, losing enough weight to successfully reverse my diabetes more than makes up for it.21 -

There is a better way, somewhere, but heck if I know what it is.
I AM ALMOST AT GOAL I WOULD LIKE TO LOOK CUTE.
I just saw this and it's so great LOL. did you ever it out @wunderkindking ?
My body just doesn't conform to clothes right now. The classic "wont lose weight in all the places at the same time. I buy one shirt, massive on parts of me, tight on others. Same with pants. Waist used to be a problem - but now its my thighs. So I can get something tight around my legs but I dont have to worry about my pants falling down. Or I can buy something good around my legs but I need a belt or to tie the "drawstring" or whatever like nobodies business LOL.4 -

I did.
Because fall happened.
Stretchy jeans or leggings, hoodie or flannel shirt of the tentish variety, and uggs. It goes nicely with "WHY AM I SO COLD, WHY IS IT SO COLD WHY IS EVERYTHING COLD ALL THE TIME" stuff.
If I feel like being cute I braid my hair and wear mascara. :P
I... will worry about it again come spring. Maybe.7 -

But all joking aside I finally mostly evened out so while my size is all over because clothing companies are stupid, once I find my size in a brand they fit more or less right. I just don't care right now because I AM COLD and I am going to live in hoodies until like May, probably.3 -
My Birkenstocks were too big and I had to adjust the straps smaller. The first time I wore them after losing 50+ pounds they kind of hurt my feet. I realized they were too loose. I adjusted the straps and now they feel great.
When I first lost the weight, my butt almost disappeared. It filled out again a bit (without gaining weight). I am now doing a workout routine that focuses on glute building. I used to wear LOFT's curvy jeans. Now I wear their modern styles. Curvy styles are baggy in the butt.7 -
When I lost 17 kg-s my back didn't get tired and sore after I stood more than 5 minutes, also lower back pains were gone. My arthritic knees were much better and didn't hurt anymore. I could tolerate much easier the summer heat.6

I was just last Friday complaining to a friend of mine how cold I am vs pre-weight loss. Except at night, of course, since I still have night sweats due to being that golden age. I'm hoping that this summer I'll be able to tolerate the heat more easily.

I no longer sweat cottage cheese0

Back pain from heavy chest. When I was heavier I had stomach rolls that held my chest up, now that they are getting smaller my chest is pulling on my back.9

My weight loss soared because I begin to eat a lot more fiber and drink a lot more plain water. But one thing I noticed as a consequence of that is, I visit the bathroom far more often -- #1 and #2. I should have known, but I didn't think of that in the beginning.10

I work in manufacturing and until recently I can't easily move heavy items anymore. I've now lost 103lbs, I live in the U.S. and I didn't realize how much I used my weight as a strength and I'm not really that strong. I've been lifting weights but I am stuck asking for help on moving things. Which I don't like to do. lol
I went to put on size 10 jeans today and I thought, no, these won't fit. But they are and they aren't tight!

Hi
I have only been on this App for a month, but I now have a new wardrobe of clothes for free!!
I have been able to dig out clothes that I had vac packed under my bed, just in case I lost weight.
‘New jeans’ ‘new tops’ all of which I can now button up or zip up.
Phew!
AND, my posture feels more upright, I can now reach my small toes for pedicures.
I feel encouraged, and feel happier about my confidence.
I have lost nearly a stone, with at least two more to go.
Good luck everyone.17 -

Yes! I’m down just shy of 80 lbs. I can no longer flip my king size mattress. I can’t even budge it on the frame. I can’t move a couple other pieces of furniture that I used to be able to move either.10 -
I felt more attractive. I have never felt attractive, then I reached goal weight and having worked with a lot of women (I'm a guy), I felt slightly attractive when I was at work.16
