11/8 216 (+.4) Hiked 6+ miles with my sister yesterday. It was a beautiful day in the mountains. I should be on a downward trend tomorrow. No scheduled exercise today, but I’ll be drinking lots of water.
11/9 215.4 (-.2) Today, I’m back in the pool. My low weight was last Friday. I had my indulgence meal Friday night and I’m still trying to catch back up. No hugs necessary. Just playing some mind games that come along with losing weight. As long as I stay focused, the whoosh will come.

@UnstoppableSandra that makes me miss the trails myself! It’s getting too cold here to ride outside anymore, so it’s been the Pelo for me. Is it spring yet?!4

11/08 - 217.2 I set my goal for this round to 215 because that will put me into "overweight" BMI. I've been snacking A LOT lately but I've also been working out like a madman so I feel like it's deserved. A healthy relationship with food is important to establish getting closer to the goal. Had my booster shot on Saturday and that knocked me out but still had a 45 minute PR on the Peloton.
11/09 - 218.9 My body does not like the beginning of the week lol. I didn't work out so that definitely plays a factor but this is every Monday/Tuesday. Took progress pictures this morning though and it's honestly crazy to see beginning of weight loss vs now.

11/07 …..189.0….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
11/08 …..189.2 ….. (Trend weight 187.2) Not off to a great start with the scale. Late night snacks brought on by excessive hunger. I worked hard in the yard yesterday for over 3 hours and burned over 700 calories just in raking. Those calories can come in much faster than they leave!
11/09 …..189.6 ….. Trend weight 187.4) No TMI again. Very early weigh-in after, essentially, no sleep and all those other excuses. Yesterday it was not on my daughter. It was on me. I know what good habits are. I know what low calorie is and what low carb can do to help me. I recognize the right foods. It’s time to stop glancing at it all and start staring at what I need to do. It has been out of control since just before my surgery.

What we need to succeed is a sustainable way of eating, not a DIET we go on and off.
People say keto/LCHF isn’t sustainable but I’ve been doing it for over 4 years with amazing results!
This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE.

@_JeffreyD_ After we got Oskar, my “not a cat person” husband said “no more cats.” Last week he said he might relax that statement. I think Oskar at 9 1/2 would be much better off with a playmate. 🤷♀️
I would like all of the prayer warriors out there to add my older daughter to your lists. She is interviewing on Monday at 10AM Central time for a job 25 minutes from home rather than the 65 minute commute she has been doing. She has been an RN for over 20 years. Some of you may remember her from JGM10 as @MBabydoll Thank you in advance my dear friends!9 -

Sending prayers and good vibes her way! I'm a tad bit jealous as I'm dreading commuting my 90 minute commutes that are likely to start up again here in the coming months.8 -

😎I'm hovering around UGW (down 87lbs) 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
• In Maintenance for over 2 years.
• Smart BMI - optimal weight.
• Muscle/Fat %ages in normal range Just because Covid restrictions aren’t compulsory doesn’t mean they’re not necessarily. People are still dying out there………
😷Take care! Stay safe!😷
October focus:- maintain weight < 145 (I have been maintaining since July 2019)
- Work on improving stamina, strength, flexibility, which may impact the scale
I liked this so much I'm borrowing it.
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!
220's; 210's; 200's; 190's; 180's; 170's; 160's; 150's; 140's; 130's
Aims:2021 Focus:JGM10D ~|~ Round 167 🔹Posting weight and comments each evening.- Maintain weight < 145
- Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
- Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
- Cut down on eating between meals by keeping busy
Never give up! Never give in!
Recent Back Story:- 2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅
- 2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
- 2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ Strength training has slowed progress, but that’s okay.
- That's a WIN in my book!
- 2021
- Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.
- (One good thing about Covid is that I don't have to traverse the minefield of family celebration meals.)

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Round 167 - SW 75kg, EW 74.5kg. Was a tough week and I blew it overnight between the end of the last round and the start of this one!! 😫

11/9; 75kg, 11st 11lb. Back on track with my eating but struggling really badly with indigestion. Oh my god the indigestion. I feel SO ill. I’m popping proton pump inhibitors like they are going out of fashion but really I need to stress less… easier said than done!9 -
Round 168 (100th for me). I prove yet again round after round that I need this to help keep me on track.
@QuiltingJaine-thank you for setting up the new round.
I was so disgusted and disappointed with myself the last few day of last round; so challenge for this round is to stay on track; I'm endeavouring yet again to have a binge free 10 days, after all it is only 10 days! – I want to drop a good few pounds by the start of December as I feel more comfy in a dress I want to wear for Peaky Blinders dance night – any loss will be a win!
Covid restrictions have mostly been lifted in England – we reached “freedom day” months ago, but remember there is still a pandemic, cases are continuing to rise: Covid is still around! Continue to wash hands, be kind, wear a mask in public indoor settings, always consider others.Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and then gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then & didn't want to gain any more, It's took me 75 rounds to achieve my under 130 target; back to maintenance again!! A healthy life style has to be a permanent way of life.

Day/Weight/Comment
11/8 136.2 – better numbers ! 7.3 miles walked yesterday, calories and carbs both just slightly over, no binge.
11/9 135.8 – yes! Back to where I was 5 days ago; 2 days to gain 3+ pounds, but 3 days to lose it and feel better for it ! A binge not only brings weight gain, but makes me feel bloated, uncomfortable, lethargic, generally disgruntled and my mouth breaks out in ulcers. It's about time I leant my lesson! 11.75 miles walked yesterday, a very good food day, calories well under, carbs just 9 over. No binge!
11/10 135 - 9.57 miles walked & then a good few hours helping DS with her newly purchased bungalow; taking up old wooden floor panels, underlay, removing skirting boards then loading into the skip. Reasonable food day, just about kept with in calories, but exceeded carbs.

11/08 146.6 (trend 146.6) was hoping to start this round at a lower number after seeing 145.# several times last round but hey ho. TOTM started today with a vengeance, which explains why I've been such a monster to my family the last few days! Feeling pretty nauseous and weak, must try to avoid stuffing my face for comfort. Not sure what to set my goal weight at this round, I'll aim high but any loss will be a win.
11/09 145.8 (146.5) Hopefully this is the end of the bloat, fingers crossed. Didn't make the best food choices yesterday, had no breakfast, bolognese and veg for lunch and a piece of fruit... all good but then I scoffed a portion of chip shop chips with loads of ketchup, doh! Still came in just under calories though, phew!
11/10 145.2 (trend 146.3) November is going so fast! Starting to feel like I'm treading water again with my weight loss and I need to find a way to get things moving again. I definitely feel like I'm losing better and feeling better now that I've upped my calories a bit (conversely) but my activity levels aren't that great in the evenings. I work on my kitchen reno until it starts to get darkish at 4pm then there's not enough light in the room to see what I'm doing so I get changed and basically sit for the rest of the day, not good.

11/08 - 182.4 Well the scale is up today, but that’s ok. I know I ate well yesterday and went for a hike. Hoping my last weigh-in wasn’t just a fluke and that the scale drops again.
11/09 - 180.8 Very happy to see the scale back down today. Ate well yesterday, though not much activity.
11/10 - 181.2 Sigh. Scale back up again for some reason. Stuck to my calories and meal plan yesterday though so will just keep at it.

11/08 – 129.0 Off to a great start. :P Note sarcasm. I know I had two contributing factors. #1 pasta for dinner which always gives me a temporary uptick #2 My parents have a huge stash of candy bars in their home, so yesterday I put four of them in my bag for “emergency”. Well, all four are gone……. I need to go grocery shopping. There is no selection of healthy food in this house as I am spending all my time on other responsibilities. I need to change that. Today is driving 30 min to my mother, meet home health aid who is starting today, assist with meeting with respite care evaluator and help with all paper work, load my SUV full of their trash to take 30 min each way to the dump tomorrow, drive another 30 minutes to my father’s rehab, visit with him alone (first time alone since his hip break), eventually drive the 40 minutes home, then try to drive home during rush hour traffic
11/09 – 129.4 Yesterday was expected to be a busy but planned out day. Mother’s aid was coming for the first day of help and I was going to drive down and meet/visit, then stay through into the afternoon for a visit from the care assessment nurse for my mother to join my father in a respite care facility next week. Then I would head to my fathers for first alone visit in over three weeks, since his hip broke. Well, 15 minutes before I planned to leave, I learn that on day one, the aid is not coming!!! To top it off, the manager of the home health company told my parents advocate that I canceled her aid. So my day turned upside down again. It ended with my drive home from the end of day visit with my father taking 72 minutes. Once home, I could not shake it off. Today is supposed to be a home day. I promised my husband that today and tomorrow I would concentrate on unpacking in our house. Last night I needed Sudafed (I swear my parents have mold in that house), and it took me an hour to find what I needed. I need order to return
11/10 – 130.4 Latest excuse, Chinese food last night. More movement in the wrong direction, but this outcome correlates perfectly with my actions (and inaction). Today is a home/unpacking day. I have also pre-tracked my day. I know this method works, but will I stick to it throughout the day.

11/10 - 148.5 - Better day yesterday! Did have a small bedtime snack of caramel popcorn to kill sweet tooth cravings. Thankfully it's really sweet to me so a small handful was more than enough. Other than that, stayed fairly well on track food-wise. Also managed my full 90oz water, yippee! Leftover tacos from dinner I'll munch on at lunch. Likely make more of a salad out of it than a taco like last night. Avoid those carbs. Unsure of dinner. BF was craving wings and the only good place in town to that has wings was closed last night so I'm anticipating eating out tonight. I should be able to plan around that, though.

Previous Day's Comments11/08 - Chili for dinner, that's all I can say about this. 80 oz water, only 10oz shy of what I normally try to drink so much better. Probably retaining some of it while I work to rehydrate. It will likely take a few days to flush out. Time change has my sleep messed so that's likely not helping, either. My birthday camping trip is this weekend since we had to postpone. Will be busy getting everything ready for that (:
11/09 - I'm beyond bloated this morning. Uncomfortably so, but at least not painful. BF had a gurgly stomach last night and he's thinking it was the chili finally getting to him. I'm wondering if that's my problem as well. No proper TMI is also adding to the scale. Water was okay, about 80oz. Instead of a workout, we reorganized house to bring BF's office back in the house now that it's getting a tad too chilly to be in the garage. It has a window unit AC, but no heat in there. Hopefully come January, we will be in a good enough place to look to buy a house that suits our needs so we don't have to have him taking over our dining room. (Especially frustrating when I'm working from home and he has to be on camera. The front door is in full view and only a corner of the living room is hidden. I have to plan my potty breaks, me leaving/coming home, and getting food from the kitchen around his meeting schedule to avoid being on camera.) Today I'm not sure about anything. Crazy meetings coming up right around the time it is warm/light enough out to walk. And food, well, getting ready for a weekend away so we've been trying to use up perishables before we go, limiting my healthy selection. I think I have one bag of salad left I might munch on.
