Managing to hit the 50lbs lost mark and then to be in the 170s for Christmas. I'm mid-180s and a few pounds from the first goal right now; really hopeful I can push both!11

I have almost hit the 80 lbs lost mark, and technically could even go now, but they charge a bit more if you are over 230. So now it's a pride thing. I am at 235, so I am getting pretty close. My husband, who is not an adrenaline junkie, has actually even said he would go with me. He has been really supportive of it all
I finally got there, I am at 218 lbs currently, 95 lbs lost! I booked my jump for next weekend. I am SO excited and have amazing little butterflies in my stomach thinking about it.25 -
Just back at it, so a simple goal for the month, 10 pounds down, which I've already reached, but I want to not regain it. Bonus for any more weight released!8

Creating a good Atomic Habit!!7

My baby biceps starting to pop out and show off is actually my biggest motivator right now.12

I went skydiving after a double transplant, removal of 15” of small intestine and a 96 pound weight loss over a span of 2 years(2009-2011). If I were to do it again, would skip or have a very light breakfast and wear a 3/4 or long sleeve shirt. It was 84 degrees when I jumped, so not all that cold at altitude. Family bought me a video of the jump and you can see my loose arm skin flapping all the way down. As for breakfast, when you pull the cord, it’s like somebody giving you the Heimlich maneuver. Just my experience. It may not be yours. It really is a lot of fun so enjoy the experience.

Oops, the timeline was May 2009 to October 2011, so 3 years.2

Thank you! If I am honest with myself, I knew in my heart, I might not enjoy the photos of my much looser facial skin...I didn't think about the shirt/arms. Maybe others that have not been through all this might find that a bit vain...but dangit, I have worked hard to get here, and it's fun to show off a bit! I appreciate the input, both on the breakfast and the apparel!1 -
@FeelingFroggy13. You’re welcome. You. Will enjoy it! I did it tandem cuz not coordinated. Took the full minute free fall that they advertised(because I’m that kind of person). It was like flying until the Heimlich. Then it pulls you up then you slowly drift down. Prepare to be running when you hit the ground to avoid face planting. I would do it again if it was closer to me. The views are awesome and so is the flying feeling! You will feel amazing afterwards.
Post or dm me. I would love to hear from you after you jump.2 -

My mini goal is to continue to be mindful of my eating over the next couple of weeks. I want to indulge a bit for Christmas (and I will), but I don't want to indulge so much that I fall back into the "well this day is blown so all bets are off" mentality either. This is not just a goal about my weight, but about continuing to feel good. Previous holidays have seen terrible bouts of heartburn, etc.. Really, no cookie or beverage is worth feeling like that again.
I guess what I'm saying is: my goal is to "check myself before I wreck myself".14 -
Just to keep going one day at a time until I am at a weight I am happy with fat wise and my muscles are as big as I decide they need to be.11

Attained my goal of losing 40#s by December. Now working on the next 10#'s. After that, I will buy some new clothes since everything I own and wear now is totally baggy!12

Met my Dec goal! 60 straight days of signing in since end of Oct (and may as well log food and activity while I am here anyway)9

Maintaining my weight through the holidays - abd it’s working! Logging everything, weighing daily, but eating at maintenance (giving myself enough room to enjoy special meals) is working. Come January I’ll be able to pick off where I left off without feeling like a failure. Feels amazing.8
