Please join us in December for an accountability month! Most people utilize the thread for weigh-ins, you may weigh in daily or weekly; do what works for you. If your goals are to drink more water, gain muscle, reduce fat, increase strength or cardio, etc, feel free to join us and track those items as well.

I wont be weighing myself at all for the month of December but I'd love to join for accountability of staying on track for workouts, eating right, and logging.5

2020 SW: 235 BMI 41.6 (1/1/2020) Then back up to 241 before refocusing in Aug

December Goal: 135.02 -
I slipped away last month because I truly hate the upgrade/changes here. The lack of contrast hurts my eyes.
However, I need the accountability so I'm going to do about two weigh-ins per week (Friday for sure and Monday or Tuesday). First one will be on the 3rd. I just returned from a six day vacation and need all that sodium out of my system first! I'm a little afraid to step on the scale tomorrow. Additionally, I'm returning to a strict anti-inflammatory diet which I've gotten away from in the last couple of months.

Wrong direction for the start of the month but not unexpected since I indulged a piece of pecan pie at both lunch and dinner. Leaving the fishing camp 🎣 today. Being back home without all the goodies will make a difference ... as well as more meal planning.5 -

@lazyblondechef what is your anti-inflammatory diet? I definitely need a firm commitment to avoid gluten, I get really lazy with it.

WL history: ups and downs for years
Exercise: Y workout 3x/week, walk with or without the dogs 5x/week
Goal: truly give up gluten and avoid it (not allergic, just pick up many pounds of fluid for days)
Goal: put myself on the things-to-do list, and the take-care-of list
Goal: lose it and maintain it
Goal weight: 140
12/31 goal: 185
12/1 196.0 was a sticker shock this morning. A lot of inflammation still from surgery last month so my 12/31 goal is slightly possible but not very confident. I'm not shifting it though. Onward and downward!5 -

Anti-inflammatory diet:
Avoid gluten and gluten like grains
Avoid alcohol
Avoid saturated fats
Avoid sugar
Avoid refined carbs
Limit dairy
Limit red meat to once a week
Eat poultry, fish, eggs, beans for protein
Eat small portions of whole grains
Eat a ton of green vegetables
Eat some starchy vegetables
Eat some fruit
Use good oils like olive or avocado

I'm doing some recipes from the Eating Well link this week though not necessarily following the actual plan. Just picking what sounds good. One thing I like about this one is it gives you modifications for changing your calories. The plan is around 1500 calories per day but has changes for 1200 or 2000.5 -
