I'm back. Mary from Pennsylvania 64 Heaviest weight 255 lbs twice. :-(
UGW-122 lbs. I was there in 2009/10 and kept it off for 5 years then got lazy.
My goal is to continue with what seems to work for me. 1000-1200 calories, low carb 15 Net +/- 3(My body seems to not do well with carbs, hangs onto them way too much!), minimum 70 + oz of water, 2 meals/day on my off work days(3) and 3 meals on my work days, exercise on my 3 off work days. My weigh in day is Sunday.

12/5/21-171.8 lbs As of yesterday I AM NO LONGER OBESE! I AM OVERWEIGHT! Also am wearing size 10 jeans but found a brand new pair of 8's with Tags on and I just had to try them. I zipped them right up, no trouble. My flabby belly though hangs out bad over the waistband, so need to do abdominal crunches.
12/12/21-170.8 lbs
I just couldn't wait for my regular weigh-in day. I had to share!
12/14/21- 169.4 lbs :-) YESSSSS! The 160's! But since this AM, now in my head I'm thinking about getting into the 150's. I could be back into my old clothes by Summer!

I'll take that loss! My back has been hurting for a couple days, so I'm rather surprised to be down at all. I did see that 196 on the scale earlier this week, but things kind of went off the rails from Wednesday onward - I really underestimated how much I relied on my daily routine. Lesson learned I suppose, I'll prep some breakfasts and lunches for next week (I'm off work until 1/4). I also haven't done much exercise this week; the Planet Fitness app finally deleted the series of videos from last year that I was in the middle of as of Monday morning, so I've just been going for walks and aiming for 10k steps per day (which I've been hitting up until yesterday - I basically spent Christmas Eve on the couch, LMAO, but I guess I needed a rest day).
We managed to score an old Mr. Coffee 12-cup drip coffeemaker from the thrift store - it needed a new thermostat, but once Hubs installed that it worked like new. We have an ungodly number of coffeemakers already, but now we have a way to make more than one cup at a time! It's even programmable - we decided the inaugural brew would be coffee for Christmas morning. (Our current collection includes, in addition to the Mr. Coffee: a first-gen Keurig; a 24-oz French press; a stovetop espresso maker/moka pot; an Aeropress; and a coffee siphon, which is the coolest-looking but biggest pain in the *kitten* to use, LMAO. We still need a pour-over cone and a Chemex to complete the set.)2 -
@goal06082021 wow with the coffee pots!! I didn't realize that was a hobby for you. Nice!! Merry Christmas all!! Congratulations for all those who are hanging in there with the holidays. We can do this! Whether it is maintenance, or simply watching what you eat - I hope you safe food journeys to go with all your celebrations!!

Well done, Lisa!
I just went for a walk. It shouldn't be a big thing, but I haven't been doing it lately, so by gum, I'm going to celebrate it. I walked down to the park near my house and admired a tree.8 -
Merry Christmas everyone! I have thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas season so far, especially that both of my brothers & spouses were able to join us. Last year it was prohibited and with Omicron numbers skyrocketing, it was touch and go again this year - so hurray!
Scale shows me up 3 lbs today, not too worried - but I am cognizant that I am just in the lull between feasting so taking it a bit easy the rest of this week until New Years and will stay within maintenance calories. Eating my turkey dinner leftovers until ham on New Year's day!

Dec 24 - 267.2 (changed to maintenance calories until January)

Weight goal for December - 30 lbs down ✔ and keep that loss into the New Year (TBD)!
I usually weigh in daily when at home, but will record weekly, trying for Fridays (if I slept at home Thursday night to weigh in next morning - until my new portable scale arrives)
Other goals:
[ ] Go for minimum 15 minute walk each day, indoors or out - sadly, this has fallen off - but I have been working on a step goal & my daughter gave me a mini trampoline which I plan to set up tonight. Shout out to @sargemarcori for your walk!
[ ] Get my water in, minimum 6 cups - ✔
[ ] Focus on adequate protein in my diet, especially seafood - added keeping carbs below 150 grams when I recalc'd my calories - did well most of December but Xmas dealt this a blow, carbs are way up
[ ] Get Christmas stuff done!!! Enjoy the day!! ✔✔3 -
Hi all. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I've been away for a few months from MFP. I'm now back and can't wait to join you all again in January! I started my weight loss journey again on boxing day. I didn't want to wait till new year. I'm down 3lbs so far.
Happy new year to all!6 -
Hi Everyone!
I haven't posted since the end of November. This time of year has always been particularly busy and I tend to put myself on the back burner, which means I haven't been eating correctly or exercising. The past few days I've been getting my head back on straight. I hope 2022 is the year for all of us to reach our health goals!!!2 -

I did really well last week and am very proud of myself. I had a couple of rough days, but I stuck to my plan and under my calorie goal. Thank goodness for Pickles!!
I'm only 6.2 pounds away from the BMI overweight category!
I've joined a new group Fit2Fat for daily accountability. I'm on team: Mission Silmpossible.6 -
I can't find the January 2022 link-1

Hi, @finngirl61!! The new month isn't usually posted until the first day of the month. Are you in a hurry to get out of December?1

I hit my goal range! Officially no longer obese, and I have lost over 40 pounds in less than 6 months.
New Years Resolution: BMI of 23 before 2023. That's 46 pounds to lose in 52 weeks, or less than a pound a week. I don't intend to lower my calorie intake over the year, since it will end up close to but under my maintenance intake at my goal weight.
Here's to a new year!8
