    12/31: 168.9 Dropping some holiday water, which is good. Hoping to keep that trend over the next week...but dang. Looking over the month, a 1lb loss?! I guess it's better than a gain and I suppose, given how loose I've played it, it's okay, but still disappointing. Back on that horse!

    My name is Donna and I am 61 years old. I live in the Midwest of the USA. 5' 5" tall. My starting weight was 253. I have relapsed in the past year and need to get back on track. I am type 2 diabetic and in remission for breast cancer. Health is my #1 priority.

    Dec 01…..188.7…..(Trend Weight: 189.5)….. My brother passed away today at the age of 54. It was rather sudden but I was caring for him with the help of end-care hospice. I’m a hot mess and have been for a bit. I don’t know how I am going to pull myself together, especially with the holidays here. That’s always a tough time for dieting. I’m doing everything from eating my emotions to bingeing. Nothing will bring him back. I’ve got to get a grip. Please be patient with me, my friends. I’m doing good minutes or moments at a time but it doesn’t last. But I never give up. This reminds me how much my family needs me. I’ve got to get back to the positive changes I need to make. I just need a minute.

    Dec 14…..191.6…..(Trend Weight: 190.4)….. The death of my brother has really found me spiraling out of control. It has been horrid. Couple that with travel for Christmas shopping and all the cravings that come with being off plan and it’s a recipe for disaster. Hell, I haven’t even started baking yet. I’ve got to get a grip. Nothing will bring him back.

    Dec 21…..191.4…..(Trend Weight: 190.5)….. Another death this week. A friend of 20 years age 55 from an Asthma attack. I had a full-on binge yesterday of BBQ chips and donuts that I bought at the store when I went to get water. It was so bad that I skipped dinner just to off-set the calories. I feel like death warmed over today. I have none of the energy that good foods would have given me. This is just another example of my food killing me, like a poison because of my relationship with it. I’ve got to do better! I know this was emotional eating. Too many death's this month. But it solves nothing!

    Dec 28…..193.6…..(Trend Weight: 191.7)….. Doing horribly during the holiday and baking season. Also just eating my emotions and taking the easy way out. Gotta stop the madness!


    Dec 31…..191.6…..(Trend Weight: 191.7)….. On December 31, 2020 my weight was at 207.0. Down 15.4 pounds this year and for that I am grateful. I plan on working even harder in 2022. Happy New Year everyone!
