We are a long-term group who support each other through life and the scale. Please join us in January for an accountability month! Most people utilize the thread for weigh-ins, you may weigh in daily or weekly; do what works for you. If your goals are to drink more water, gain muscle, reduce fat, increase strength or cardio, etc, feel free to join us and track those items as well.
We are an encouraging group challenging and supporting each other's efforts to stay on track with our personal goals. You don't have to gain weight during the holiday season; we can help you stay motivated.

WL history: ups and downs for years
Exercise: treadmill walk 5x/week (actual exercise not allowed yet after surgery in November, hope to beginning running again by end of January)
Goal: truly give up gluten and avoid it (not allergic, just pick up many pounds of fluid for days)
Goal: put myself on the things-to-do list, and the take-care-of list
Goal: lose it and maintain it
Ultimate Goal weight: 145
6/7/2022 goal (next oncologist appointment): 177, -20lbs from 12/7/21 appt

WL history: Up and down throughout the years; COVID + Alcohol = weight gain
Exercise: Begin weight training, and starting running again
Goal: lowering alcohol
Goal: lowering my carb intake

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉 Well 2021 was a wash in that I lost 11 lbs but gained 8 back for a total loss of 3 lbs. Lost all my progress starting in October on a 16 day roadtrip and then just kept sliding. BUT I did meet Ultimate Lifetime Goal: Weigh Less Each Year Than the Last . Now to make the goal I’ve set for the past 2 years … <200 (Dr set target to reach & stay under 200).

Happy New Year! I am a 44 year-old 5'4" female with Hypothyroid who is a 2x cancer survivor and has been in menopause for several years now. I have been trying to return to a healthy, active lifestyle, but after a hamstring tear in 2020 and now dealing with plantar fascitis and bone spurs in 2021, I have learned that I need to fight the urge to push my body to its limits and to focus on a more gentler approach to fitness this year.
