01/05 - 147.5 - This is fine. I had a cardiac monitor placed on my chest yesterday for 30 days, so maybe it weighs a half pound, haha? Actually, I think it weighs less than my watch. The technology available now is amazing.

12/30: 148.0, not sure what tomorrow will bring as we went out to dinner tonight. I tried to plan ahead, work my meal into my budget and drink extra water. Will see if that works. 🤞😊
12/31: 146.7, will probably hold here as this was my weight last week before Christmas dinner, drinks, cookies... Happy New Year everyone! 🎊🎉🍾

**************************************
12/28 145.2 (trend 142.9) Spent most of the night in the bathroom so I was surprised this morning to see my weight still heading upwards. Hopefully I'll be able to drop a chunk of this quickly as otherwise that's a 6.6lb gain in 11 days!! It took me 6 weeks to lose it so I can't believe I could gain it back so fast!
Having a roast chicken with all the trimmings today as our Christmas day lunch was steak and veggies so I don't feel like I've satisfied my festive cravings yet. Today will be my last day of indulgence, best behaviour from tomorrow, although NYE will have some drinks and snacks.
12/29 145.2 (143.2)
12/30 146.4 (143.6) Arrgghh make it stop! How did I let this happen? SOS!
Up nearly 8lbs in less than 2 weeks, trying to resist the urge to over restrict... it'll be fine, it'll be fine, just got to get back on the wagon...
12/31 144.2 (trend 143.7)
HAPPY NEW YEAR JGM10Ders!
OK, phew, hopefully I'm starting to see the true impact of my Christmas indulgence after the water weight and bloat subsides! However, tonight is NYE! My daughter is having a few friends over to stay tonight so we're getting out of the way and going to check out the parties at a couple of pubs. I don't like starting the new year with a sore head but it's probably going to happen that way! Adios 2021!
1/1 146.6 (trend 144.2) Had lots of fizz and a Chinese takeaway so feeling bloated and tired!
1/2 146.8 (trend 144.5) Well we decided on one last day of fun yesterday as there was sooo many goodies still left over. The house is now clear of temptation and I'm ready to go!
1/3 144.6 (trend 144.5) Much better Day yesterday, food wise. Fasted for much of the day and drank green tea. No tmi for 2 days though. Wasn't very active at all as I spent the day on the laptop researching kitchen appliances. Hopefully have a much more active day today.
1/4 142.8 (trend 144.3) So glad to see this drop, this puts me at my RGW which I really wasn't expecting to happen! Drank green tea and lemon all day, ate light, simple food. Stayed up until 3am so really need to work on a healthy sleep routine. Also I got really hungry at 2am, should have gone to bed but instead had a boiled egg, banana and cereal bar. Think my appetite has grown from all the extra Christmas food so I need to shrink my stomach so I don't get so hungry.
1/5 141.6 (trend 144.0) Had a day very similar to yesterday, including the very late night! Really need to sort that out. Crazy to think I'm down 4lbs from the first day of this round, that's what flushing out water weight does! I'm getting a bit fed up with hours and hours sitting on the sofa, hunting down the right appliances and looking for design faults for my new kitchen but I decided to take this mammoth job on in my own so only have myself to blame, ah well. Think it's all sorted now so I can get off my butt and get some activity in, lovely sunny and crisp day here but the days are short so better get out before it's too late.
1/6 141.0 (trend 143.5) Well I flew past my round goal weight thanks to dropping water weight etc, trend weight is all over the place though. Round 173 was always going to be a bit loopy! Another very late night, I'm just not feeling sleepy. I think it's because I've been alcohol free, even though it's only been 4 days, I was drinking daily so now I don't have that sedative in my system it's taking some adjustment. I think I need to get a good book to read on my kindle and go to bed at a reasonable time, no more late night scolling... any one read anything good recently? I like historical fiction with strong female characters.
Looking forward to the next round, be there or be 🟥!10 -

12/28- 193.6 Finished the day with 91 net carbs- it was pizza day. Happy with the loss this morning considering. Determined to hit the 10,000 step goal today. Let’s rock!
12/29- 193.8 I’ll admit, I’m slightly disappointed this morning. 40 net carbs yesterday, but I also had a terrible case of the munchies, so a little nibble here and there too. Thanks PMS! I’ll do better today for sure. Got my Pelo ride in yesterday, but fell short on steps. I’ll do better with the steps today too!
12/30-194.4 Man, pms this time around is intense! Can’t wait for the insatiable hunger to be gone! 50 net carbs yesterday-plus about half a brownie’s worth, whatever that was. And got all 10,000 steps in for a change! I’m ready to make today better than the past few days have been. Let’s do this!
12/31- 193.4 46 net carbs
1/1- 197.2 Wine was involved. Otherwise, I don’t think I overate by too much, nothing like Christmas! Back to business today, and it feels good already.
1/2- 197.0 I was hoping for a bigger drop, but at least it’s a drop. Finished the day just 350 steps short of goal. I was going to get up and get the rest in but fell asleep instead. 62 net carbs all day, and finally got a strength training session in for once!
1/3- 198.0 Yesterday was my husband’s birthday so there was cake, and a late night snack attack. Today I’m going to do better!
1/4- 198.6 Well, it could’ve been worse. 108 net carbs due to my husband’s dinner out (Ethiopian, some of our favorite!) and cake for dessert. I’m relieved all of the holiday and birthday eating is through now. Today is a brand new day, and the official start to my new year in getting to a healthy weight. This year is THE YEAR I finally see my goal!
1/5-197.4 The scale is finally going the right way again! 67 net carbs yesterday, step goal hit, and a Pelo ride done. Feeling good!
1/6- 194.6 42 net carbs, strength training, and step goal achieved. Only a 0.2 gain this round, which is great considering how high I was a few days ago. Now to make January GREAT!

Day/Weight/Comment
12/28 - 207.2 - Took last round off to deal with mental health and realized that I need this for accountability. Didn't work out this morning so weight skewed up a bit. But man I've been not good lately. Drinking snuck back in and I'm not outworking the drinks. Figured this round may be disappointing because of NYE but I will try my hardest.
12/29 - 203.5 - Obviously a difference between working out and not. Did a 20 minute ride last night and then 2 20 minute rides back to back this morning. I've lost close to nothing for about a month now after working so hard. Cannot give up on the eating habits, that's all I'm missing.
12/30 - 203.0 - Still need to come down a bit to get back on track but I'm not too mad. This weekend is going to need to be a lot of working out because I have some great meals planned that I want to enjoy without any bad feelings!
12/31 - 197.5
1/1 - 197.3
1/2 - 199.7
1/3 - 201.9 - Those weekend numbers are so nice to see I can't wait until they're the norm for a shorter workout and an earlier weigh in. Really so close to being consistently under 200 and I really want to get there, I'm just so tired recently!
1/4 - 202.6 - This is probably some leftover weekend eating/drinking piling on. Either way, I'm still low 200s and had you told me this last year at this time, I'd be excited. So I'm going to be happy for myself! I've now burned 770+ calories 70 days in a row, which I'm proud of and hope I don't break that!
1/5 - 203.4 - More weekend eating/drinking weight mixed with no bathroom breaks. Come on, body! I'm putting in the work, just give me that sub 200 one weekday morning!
1/6 - 205.5 - Didn't work out this morning because I slept in after being woken up at 2:45. Ughhh I may have to switch up exercise or something to get out of this non-movement over the past month or so.9 -

Day/Weight/Comment
12/28 / 191.2 / My trend weight is definitely up this week but I'm back on my deficit so it'll just be a matter of time before the drops start happening again. I am traveling at the end of this round so my routine will be a bit skewed but my Dad was recently diagnosed as diabetic so eating well at his house won't be an issue. Day off from work today so we'll see what fun we get up to.. my 45 minute bike ride is already done!
12/29 / 191 / Working today, still bitterly cold so I'll be hopping on the Peloton for my exercise later today. We have a nice chicken dinner planned for tonight. Got my COVID booster this morning.
12/30 / 190.6 / Last day on a planned normal deficit for the next week so I'll be making it count. Tomorrow my husband has a special dinner planned and then Jan 1-5 we are travelling so I'll be eating at maintenance -10%. Still hoping to enter 2022 in the 180's!
12/31 / 188.6 / Proud of what I've accomplished this year... 104.4 pounds, from morbidly obese to overweight, looking forward to tackling 2022 in the same fashion. Happy New Years everyone!
1/1 / 190.6 / Happy New Year! Started with a 45 minute PR on the Peloton and now my husband and I are doing the 11 hour drive to my dad's for a late holiday visit.
1/2 / 188 / Made it to Dad's for our visit. Nice to see him... out of our usual exercise routine here but we brought some dumbbells and I will do some Peloton cardio that doesn't require equipment.
1/3 / 188 / Good day at my Dad's, it's cold here too but I got my 10K steps just by walking inside, and we did our dumbbell routine as well. He isn't a food pusher so it's easy to eat on track here.
1/4 / 186.8 / Did a nice yoga routine yesterday, got just over 8K steps, and had a lovely dinner of homemade lasagna at my Aunt and Uncle's house. Having a lovely visit with family and staying on track at the same time. The best combo!
1/5 / 188.2 / We wrapped up my visit at Dad's with Chinese. I did eat more than planned. Got my exercise in. Back in the car for the 11+ hour drive home today. Overall my weight dropped on my trip so I'm happy with that.
1/6 / 187 / Home from Dad's and happy for the drop. Spent all day in the car and then rode the Peloton when I got home. January is off to a great start!12 -

R173: Really!?! I’m going in the wrong direction! Need to put the brakes on and start caring what I eat. TODAY not Jan 1 is the beginning of my focus on weight loss again. No more of the holiday excess.
🎯Mini Goal: <205 (Repeat until I hit it!)
Exercise Goal for this round: Strength class twice per week. Walk the dog 100 miles in Dec & Jan!
Day/Weight/Previous Day’s Comment
12/28 207.7 Walked 2.4 miles, over 15k steps shopping! Started journalling for the day with breakfast but then nose dived at lunch with my pregnant daughter and her cravings for queso w/ chips & fried pickles … splitting a hamburger. Dinner was good but snacks were poorly chosen when I returned home. 2 glasses wine.
12/29 207.5 Walked 2.9 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, ? cal, ? net carbs, AF. Pretty good day but still not journalling my food which means that I eat more snacks and junk than I would if I was tracking.
12/30 207.8 No exercise, ? cal, ? net carbs, AF. Helped my daughter create a BabyList.com baby registry and unpack more boxes in her house since she is off work this week.
12/31 209.0 Walked 2 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, AF. Too many salty snacks yesterday. BUT I did clean out the fridge, start menu plans again for the new year and signed up for Strength Training 4x per week instead of just 2x. Why does the flip of the year always spur me on. Well I guess because I didn’t achieve and maintain my goal for 2021. My goal was to get under 200. I was this close at 201.1 in August but then let things get out of hand and of course the scale jumps right back up when you do something stupid … like forget this is a lifestyle and not a diet. So starting a fresh page in my journal and creating the lifestyle that will help me get down to my goal set my both of my doctors.
1/01 209.0 Walked 3.8 + 1 miles, ? cal, ? net carbs, 2 glasses wine. Not sure what happen or why but my heart started racing on my evening walk as we neared home. Heartbeat jumped up to 196. Marked the activity on my Apple Watch and iPhone to share with my doctor. Otherwise, quiet evening and early to bed … ready to start the new year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉 Well 2021 was a wash in that I lost 11 lbs but gained 8 back for a total loss of 3 lbs. Lost all my progress starting in October on a 16 day roadtrip and then just kept sliding. BUT I did meet Ultimate Lifetime Goal: Weigh Less Each Year Than the Last . Now to make the goal I’ve set for the past 2 years … <200 (Dr set target to reach & stay under 200).
1/02 208.0 Walked 3.1 miles, 1674 cal, 82 net carbs, AF. Planned my meals and did well though I went over my original target because of Cheetos with lunch and the appetizers set out for our family dinner. I did avoid the wine so didn’t have to worry about those calories.
My son and his wife are at the hospital … my granddaughter is on her way!!!
1/03 206.8 Walked 1.3 miles ~ 5pm even though it was windy & chilly for Houston. 1554 cal, 30 net carbs, 1 glass wine. Yeah I’m tracking my food again … which makes a huge difference on the snacking. Once when I started to go into the pantry I decided to make black coffee instead Kept busy taking down some of the Christmas decor & walking up & down stairs many times. Long slow delivery. Still waiting on my baby granddaughter … as of 4am this morning.
1/04 207.5 Walked 3 + .9 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, 2214 cal, 49 net carbs, 2 glasses wine. My little granddaughter is adorable! 7 lbs 9 oz, 19 inch. Her mom & dad are doing well. They get out of the hospital today and we get to go meet her! I need to get on the ball if I'm going to be a slimmer, active, flexible, stronger, mobile grandma!
1/05 208.3 Walked 1.1 + .6 miles, Strength Training 1 hr, 2005 cal,138 net carbs, AF. Totally expected to be up on the scale! I journaled every bite so it is not a surprise. Meal plans were great up until dinner of Popeyes fried chicken … when we visited our new granddaughter. They were getting out of the hospital, called wanted us to drive up, they live an hour away on the other side of Houston. The snacking on Snickers, peanut butter, ice cream and Cheetos should not have even been options in my house but they were. Starting today with water before coffee and better intentions.
1/06 209.3 Walk 1.4 + 3 miles, 2232 cal, 12 net carbs, 3 glasses wine. Grazed again but less carbs. Wrong direction! Still need to work on limiting my calories.
Ups and downs! I lost and then just let it slip away yet again with poor snacking choices!

🎆🎉🌨️ January 🌨️🎉🎆
1: 207.0 Had a few drinks and some bar food, but still started fasting at my normal time. Was home and in bed earlier than I usually am. Didn't sleep well and ended up reading for an hour or two in the middle of the night. Starting a 3-day "juice" fast with an MFP friend today. I don't juice, so I'm doing protein shakes instead with frozen berries, MCT oil and a super greens supplement. Will probably have 2 a day, but I'll have to feel it out and be flexible about it. Still intend to stick to IF schedule with minimum 16-hour fast.
🎉Happy New Year! 🎉
2: 204.3 😮 I know I drop weight quickly during a cleanse, but I was not expecting 2.7 pounds overnight! I know it's not all "real" weight loss and there will be some rebound after these three days, but it's a nice number to see on the scale. January 13th goal was 205.
Had one protein/supplement shake yesterday after a 21-hour fast, and I'm feeling really good after 15 hours of fasting so far. Today might be a 2 shake day.
3: 202.6 Fasted 20 hours and 45 minutes. One shake. Today is my third and final day of this cleanse/reset. I've already hit the 16-hour fasting mark, but I'm not ready for my shake yet.
Looking at my fasting app, it occurred to me that because my daily net carbs have been so low I'm technically reaping the benefits of complete fasting. Tonight I will hit the 72 hour mark and shift into regeneration of immune cells. My first meal tomorrow will be another shake, so my fast will end when I have my first solid food sometime tomorrow afternoon (assuming it has enough carbs/calories). By the time all is said and done, I will total about 90 hours fasting. I'm feeling very good, and I think I'll do this again in July.
4: 201.4 Fasted 20 hours, followed by one shake. Late last night, I finally started to feel a bit hungry, so I drank some water and went to bed. I'm not entirely sure what to reasonably expect for a rebound weight tomorrow, but I'm hoping it isn't too much.
5: 202.2 Fasted 20 hours and 15 minutes. Had my shake and was very hungry within 2 hours, which was moderately surprising. Did very well for the whole day, even though I went to visit a friend a couple hours away. I packed my food for the day, and stuck to that and my normal 16:8 schedule. Glad there's only a little rebound in weight. Tomorrow night be a more accurate weigh in, I'm thinking.
6: 204.4 This definitely feels like a more accurate post-fast rebound. I do feel a little bloated, though I'm not sure why. Possibly pre-TOM symptom, but might be a couple days early for that. Stayed under calories & carbs yesterday, drank over 100oz of water, and started fasting at my normal time. 205 was my goal for January 13th, so I'm ecstatic to be under that already.

Ok, two days running with no snacks, no added sugars, and calories below goal. Yay me! I’m determined not to bounce back to the 80s, and would like to be down a few pounds by the time our new round of dog training classes start Jan. 10. We video one another, and I hate being the fat lady with the beautiful dog! Rory is 6 months old today. 🙂

Dark, wet, cold day, but I’m taking the pup out for a run. Then some house cleaning. Then, who knows? Have a lovely!

Salt. No problem, and I got out of the 80s by the end of the year as I’d hope. Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year’s Eve! 🥂

Finally feel I’m on the right track, and I’m feeling optimistic about staying this way. So HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone!

Brrrr! Big temp drop from yesterday, which makes me want soup. Maybe I’ll make a nice pot of minestrone. I baked another mince pie yesterday for New Year, but gave half away to friends & neighbors, had a reasonable piece last night, and enough left for one more piece each for DH & me. If I plan my day, it fits into my calories (if not my added sugar!). Off to run the pup — ground is frozen so no mud! Yay!

Let’s hear it for soup and planning!
01/04 - 178.4, ave 178.5
I baked chocolate chip cookies yesterday (DH requested) and slowly ate a quarter of one. Satisfied my desire without breaking the calorie or added sugar bank. I’ve been consistently staying below or at my calorie goal—finally—and my urge to snack is way less than it has been the past few months. Progress!
01/05 - 177.6, ave 178.1
In spite of pilfering two cookies….I may have found my caloric sweet spot, at least for now. Very happy with this round so far! 😁
01/06 - 177.8, Ave 177.9
Okay, good round. My moving average is down 3.2 pounds. Even knowing that much of that is likely water, it’s very encouraging. I feel like I’m finally on track, thanks in great part to the inspiration and reassurance I find in your posts. See you next round!

12/28 203.2 (-.2) Swam a mile in the pool yesterday and made meals for the next few days. My low weight was 202 on December 18th. I was hoping to be closer to that weight today, but I’m getting there. Drank all my water.
12/29 202.0 (-1.4) There it is. My previous low weight. Hoping for a new low by the end of 2021. No organized exercise today, but I will stay on plan with both food and water.
12/30 201.8 (-1.6) Hoping to sneak in a swim between my appointments today. I can’t believe 2021 is almost over.
12/31 202.4 (-1.0) I got in a good swim yesterday. Did not get all my water and I’m guessing that had an impact. Sending love and prayers to all those impacted by the fires near Denver. It looks like more than 500 homes burned in Superior and Louisville.
1/1 203.4(0) It finally has really begun to snow here in Denver, which we’ve really needed. I stayed home last night and after a Zoom call with my sisters, treated myself to a steak dinner. I always create a plan for a new year beginning with my accomplishments from the year prior. Losing weight has been on my list for years and it was so exciting to actually be able to list amazing progress. I’m over 60 pounds down for the year and have 43.4 pounds to go. What an amazing accomplishment. I love being surrounded by people who are walking this path along side me. Just look at what we’ve all accomplished. While we may not be as far along as we hoped, we’ve moved forward in wonderful ways. Happy New Year my friends. Wishing you happiness, good health and a year of growth and fun!
1/2 202.2 (-1.2) Still bouncing around a bit, but did get my water in yesterday. I’m heading to Orange Theory this morning for my first workout for the year. After a birthday dinner tonight, I’m expecting a bit of an increase tomorrow, but should be moving downward into the 100’s in the next week.
1/3 201.0 (-2.4) What a nice surprise. I did have pizza yesterday, but did workout so my final calories were only a few hundred over plan. I hadn’t been to Orange Theory since early November and was really happy with how much stronger I am and how my cardio fitness has improved. I have been swimming and hiking regularly.
1/4 201.6 (-1.8) I had a wonderful swim yesterday and stayed under my calorie goals, so this is a bit confusing. But, that’s how it goes and as long as I trust the process, keep logging and weighing my foods, it’s all good.
1/5 201.0 (-2.4) No organized exercise today. I’ll stay on plan and drink all my water. Getting under 200# seems like it’s taking forever. I weighed 202# on December 18th, so I’m only one pound down from there in the last two and a half weeks. I have to remind myself that Christmas, New Year’s Day and my birthday have all happened in that time frame and I’m still down a pound. Still frustrating.
1/6 201.0 (-2.4) It’s 1 degree F this morning and icy, so I won’t be swimming. It’s nice to still be down at my low weight today. I’m going to do it. The next round, I’m going to be in the 190’s. Stay safe and warm!!

@enlightenme3 I’m curious what kind of dried fruit you eat to increase your protein. 1 oz of raisins (supposedly HIGH in protein) have 1 gram protein and 29 g of carbs. Greek yogurt is good.4

Hi, I’m Karen and am in my 50’s.
OSW-187 Sept. 2018
GW-150.
12/29-166-Getting back on track...
12/31-167-Glad to be staying in the 160’s. Made creamy polenta and chicken stew. My New Years resolution will be to make exercise a priority; I let too many things get in the way.
1/1-168 and I don’t care. I’ve got a new year ahead.
1/2-168-Made Chicken Florentine and had seconds. Had drinks and relaxed. Will put all of the Christmas decor away today and start off fresh tomorrow.
1/3-170-That’s pretty funny; I got a 4 mile walk in yesterday, food must have been salty.
1/4-167-Made Chicken Tortilla Soup without tortillas or chips, light on the beans and corn. No walk, it was uncomfortably windy and cold. Rode the horse in the indoor arena where I keep him.
1/5-168-Had to be at a meeting in the morning, broke my fast with fruit and sweets. Did all of my grocery shopping, quilted, then rode the horse. No time for a walk, but today should be good for it.
1/6-168-Got a horse ride in the morning, then my husband came home and wanted to talk about his job and I listened. Then I got a notification from my dad that I needed to Fed Ex something to him A.S.A.P., so we went on a goose chase looking for a place that would actually pack and ship the envelope. Got home just in time to finish the Green Enchilada Soup I was making, then went to a quilting board meeting. Somewhere in there, we stopped by MIL’s to help her and then she invited us in to sit down and she pulled out a plate of fudge and dried fruit. I am ready for a new round!8 -
@mrsrebeccaplude- you asked about adding extra protein.... I make hard boiled eggs and add them to salad or just eat them with salad dressing or s&p. I take a container of OJ and add plain or vanilla whey protein powder to it and keep it in an ice chest, so I can drink that instead of eating the sugary oatmeal my friend is offering for breakfast, or just to have on the road, and it’s quick. I also keep chocolate whey powder on hand and like that mixed in milk.

12/27 …..192.6….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
12/28 …..193.6 ….. (Trend weight 191.7) I’m so very sick right now with what appears to be a bad cold and sore throat. Pasta last night was easy on the throat but hard on the scale. I went through 3 boxes of tissues since last night. I’ll have to send my daughter on a drug store run. Good luck everyone this round!
12/29 …..191.2 ….. Trend weight 191.7)
I am still so sick. I thank everyone for the well-wishes! It does appear to be a horrible head cold which is not healing as well as I would like due to my glucose being through the roof during this Christmas season. Only 2000 steps yesterday which is mainly bathroom or refilling coffee or water. No sleep last night. I hope this will pass soon! Nice to see a drop on the scale when my appetite has been just fine (of course!). Must be my body burning calories in fight mode.
12/30 …..192.0 ….. (Trend weight 191.7) Sickness getting worse. Moving into chest now. Lots of phlegm. Throat hurts from the coughing, not illness but it’s bad pain. Pressure in ears. Still no temp. I am hearing about other illness in my general area. Omnicon not within 150 miles of my county. Only 9 counties in Michigan affected and they are all downstate so I don’t think that is involved still. Good small meals yesterday of good choices but there was Christmas cookies and only 4000 steps as I layed on the couch most of the day.
12/31 …..191.6 ….. (Trend weight 191.7)Still so sick.
01/01 …..190.0 ….. (Trend weight 191.5) A small breakfast and a beautiful well-rounded dinner cooked by my daughter kept me in check. I did get a few pieces of bite-sized candy out of my stocking but NO CHRISTMAS COOKIES! No cookies also means less 2% regular milk (which also bloats me up). I’m very proud of how far everyone has come this year. You guys have made such wonderful progress on so many fronts! Thank you all for sharing your personal stories and your inner-most secrets with me, in all subjects from weight loss to family things. I learn everyday from you all and I also gather strength to go on. Happy New Year Everyone.
01/02 …..189.8 ….. (Trend weight 191.4) Dipping my toes into the 180’s and hope to Cannon Ball right into them any minute now. I am very happy to see my trend weight going down. It feels like the Universe has renewed it’s faith in me that I am truly shedding pounds. Still sick but my appetite is not affected.
01/03 …..191.0 ….. (Trend weight 191.3) I got nothin’. No clue why it went up. Yesterday was a low level movement day but excellent in diet. Only one snack. 3 bite-sized candies that were sugar free. Trapped in my livingroom due to some flooring disasters going around. Not real fun sitting on couch next to my stove and empty refrigerator. He has to start over but after 24 hours, the floor adhesive is still not dry. Poor cats are trapped in upstairs bedroom.
01/04 …..192.6 ….. (Trend weight 191.4) Normal meals and no goodies. I am wondering if my 2% milk is bloating me. I’ll probably have to go back to my lactose free Fairlife milk, it usually helps. Absolutely no movement or exercise. Still have flooring problems and am trapped in the livingroom which is packed full of stuff.
01/05 …..193.2 ….. (Trend weight 191.6) Dinner at 2:00 a.m. Not good. More work is to be done on the floors today. Most of the issues have been resolved I am told. I’ve got to start logging. I can’t wait for a refrigerator and stove again!
01/06 …..194.0 ….. (Trend weight 191.8) Sadly, I know this is not water weight. It’s lack of movement and calorie burn from the floor reno. It’s make-shift meals that I am trying to be reasonable on since there is no stove or fridge. It’s too easy to grab cereal for a meal with milk from the coolor and other such things that I normally stay away from. Sandwiches which add up to too much bread overall for the day etc. Flooring man left at 10:30 so another late dinner. I am hoping the work will be completed today so I’m not trapped in my livingroom for much longer! Making plans for a comeback my friends!
Every healthy habit brings me closer to scratching each of these off to NEVER see them again!

Hi, I'm Jen!
Female, 5'9"
Highest weight: 08.18.2021 235 lbs
Round 172 SW: 12.17.2021 200.2 lbs
Round 172 EW: 12.27.2021 197.4 lbs
Round 173 GW: 196 lbs
12/28: 196.8 lbs (-0.6)
Have a fancy dinner out planned for NYE so aiming for 196 for this round. Should be doable as long as the other 9 days are sound.
Hit the gym hard last night and sore this morning. Would have thought it would be up, but I'll take it!
12/29: 196.6 lbs (-0.2)
More sore this morning. Couldn't fall asleep last night until after 2am so I'm dragging today.
12/30: 196.8 lbs (+0.2)
Not sweating a slight gain. Pretty sore from yesterday's workout.
12/31: 197 lbs (+0.2)
Didn't get enough exercise yesterday or sleep last night. Going to hit the gym this morning.
01/01: 195.8 lbs (-1.2)
Happy New Year! What a great group! You all inspire me with your persistence and good choices!
I had a mini goal to make in to 195 by New Years, so I'll take this as a win! Went out to dinner last night and behaved - grilled salmon with lemon crema and asparagus. Lighter and SO good! I'm in Denver too and the roads are terrible. I'm hoping the plows get out before I hit up the gym. That's not something I would have said ANY New Years day before. Who the heck have I become?!
01/02: 196.6 lbs (+0.8)
Had a feeling that it would be up today. Didn't make it to the gym yesterday so going today.
01/03: 195.4 lbs (-1.2)
Good workout yesterday. Surprisingly the gym was pretty empty. No Resolutioners, just the regulars. Not expecting that to continue!
01/04: 194.2 lbs (-1.2)
Good workout yesterday. Slept about 2 hours last night though. Will see if the stress effects the scales.
01/05: 193.6 lbs (-0.6)
Expected it to go up, wasn't very active yesterday. Waiting for a covid test and trying to get stuff done in case I do get sick.
01/06: 193.8 lbs (+0.2)
Good workout yesterday to keep me sane. Bedtime was very late last night after a distressing call from my ex, who is majorly depressive and untreated. Thrilled that I met my goal this round even with NYE.

Eggs are a quick easy option, if you like 'em.
@39flavours
Have you read Where the Crawdads Sing?
Oo I haven't heard of it, just read the blurb and it's got great reviews, sounds like a cross between Nell and the Jungle Book, I'll download a sample and give it a try, thank you!1 -

Sorry - I didn't mean to imply that dried fruit had protein. It's my additive to the non-fat greek yogurt (which has the protein) :-). I have not tried protein powder yet and not sure that I will, but always on the hunt for lower calorie protein sources that fit into a vegetarian diet.0
