Decided to also add up the intensity minutes my garmin watch records. I know my HR zones and as such every bit of movement over 10 minutes gets counted relatively reliably. This is for those moments where I cycle through town or walk around but don't record exercises. I do this quite a bit as I don't use my car very often.
