Hi. I’m Fran.
Recently became aware of my need to watch my carb intake due to a family history of diabetes.
My sister has been transparent about her struggles with the disease. I am the same age she was when she was diagnosed, although I am not diagnosed diabetic. I am, however, pre-diabetic.
MFP has been critical to my first 30 days of tracking my food.
I have lost 3 lbs in the last month and by using a plan on Facebook called “Reversing Diabetes Type 2 Support Group“ I have lowered my blood sugar average by 3 points.

If any of you know of a good app to track blood sugar I’m up for that as well.

    Hi Fran and Welcome. I too have type 2 diabetes and with my drs support am working to reverse my diabetes. So far in 2 month I have lost 7 pounds. I have a lot to lose but I can’t get hung up on the numbers just got to stay focused and not give up. I would love to have you as a new friend. Perhaps we can help one another.
