Thank you! Now I really need to work on the loose skin especially around my stomach. Crazy to think how much I've lost. Thank you, mfp! Wouldn't be able to have done it without this site.8 -

Thank you for your kind words. Appreciate it so much ❤️

70 pounds down...30+ pounds to go. First photo, July 2021, second photo, yesterday.

The below is from 196ish (my heaviest) to 130lb (current). It's taken years to get here and years to maintain. I dipped to 125lbs and I can stay smaller but I lift heavy things and love to eat. I REFUSE to be hungry! So my thicker body is my resting place at the moment.

I've been going back through old rowing photos, so will add an additional before & after (3 phase) here from those. I apologize for the really fuzzy photos, because some of these are old.
I started rowing in 2002. This is me then, at age 46, shortly after cancer treatment (2000-2001), when I was first starting to get regularly active. It's from the weekend camp where I rowed for the very first time ever. I look lots younger here (dark hair!), but I think pretty doughy, physically.
Starting January 2003, I was rowing regularly (I got addicted!). The next photo is from Summer of 2013, so I'd been rowing for 10 years. I'm still around the same weight (class 1 obese) as in the previous photo, and age 57. Maybe I flatter myself, but I think I look a little more compact, less doughy, and I know I'd dropped at least one pants size at the same body weight. (This is in the rowing tanks at a camp at Boston University - tanks are an indoor simulator for on-water rowing.)
In 2015, I lost weight from that class 1 obese level to the healthy BMI range at age 59-60, 50-something pounds down, and have been in that range since. I'm still rowing about the same amount. Here's a photo from earlier this summer, in a double rowing shell, at our rowing club on a local river. I'm 66.

Great job! Now, come spend some time on the boards! If you’ve been worrying about having “cred”, you’ve certainly earned it! 🤣9 -
I'm posting today for the first time ever because i need to give myself some motivation. The 'after' photo in both these shots was in March 2020 at about 80kg, and i'm now sitting about 87kg (thanks Covid) and trying to get back on the wagon.
my Ultimate Goal weight is mid-70s, but I care more about how i look and feel and my fitness and body fat then actual weight.

I lost 75 pounds 4 years ago. In early July I noticed that some clothes were getting tight. Instead of letting myself go until I had regained all the weight like I had in the past, I got back to strict tracking. Today all those clothes that were getting tight fit perfectly again.41
