I just replaced last winters 5x mens hoodie with a 3x womens hoodie. The 2x fit but I wanted it to be a little looser for layering.

This morning I glanced at my naked self in the mirror and actually thought I looked fit. That in itself is a NSV for me. My weight has been stable for a few months, and I’ve continued to progress in heavy weight lifting, so I checked my measurements and found that I’ve shrunk almost another full inch in my waist. Helz yeah!19

I was a little discouraged this morning as I didn’t sleep, everything hurts and the scale was up FOUR pounds.
I did my yoga this morning and accidentally discovered I can do a full Plow Pose, tops of my feet flat on the floor this morning.
I got ready to go to the store and was like dang… my waist looks tiny. Tiny. I measured it and I have lost FOUR INCHES around my waist since I took the measurements for my biometric screening for my health insurance a month ago…. I was absolutely stunned. 😮
And my last NSV is I’m doing the IFIT beginning running with Tommy Rivs and I am midway through week 2 and I’m doing it. That’s all… I’m plugging along. I’m succeeding. And I’m so excited to be able to keep up and I can’t wait to finish this series.

A few weeks ago, but donated all my XL shirts and some of my pants to Goodwill. Holding onto some pants, shorts and sweaters because I don't have any that actually fit and I want to wait until I get to my target weight before I buy anymore.17

I’ve been having a wee vent/moan that I’ve lost weight but couldn’t really see where from. This week I keep catching glimpses of my face in the mirror and thinking my face looks wrong (spoiler it just doesn’t match my memory of how my face looks), and I fit into a medium pair of leggings and a pair of leggings that I couldn’t get on 9 weeks ago. Very pleased with that14

I bought 2 pairs of Levi's that in size 26 last year. The dark blue jeans are roomy in the waist and baggy in the butt. And the black pair which I couldn't button fit perfectly in the waist and getting baggy in the butt. My Old Navy Jeans I'm going into a size 22. I can't wait!16

I officially need to buy all new jeans. I've wore out 3 belts trying to make my baggy jeans last as long as possible.16

My best NSV so far? How quickly I've gotten over a cold! It usually lasts for three days and then lingers for weeks afterwards. Now? Five days from the first fever to the last sniffle.14

At the gas station this morning with my daughters, I was able to stare down a donut and not blink. After a minute the donut blinked, and I walked away empty-handed. What made it harder, beyond the fact donuts are my special weakness, is that I knew I had calories to spare to eat it and not go over budget, yet I still resisted, just to prove to myself I could.34

My DH gave me my most recent NSV. I was getting dressed and he said "I've really noticed how much your tummy has shrunk. You don't have a pooch hanging over like before. Good job...".10

Well, I fell hard this morning. I mean, I wiped out. I was moving stealthily in the dark of night, trying to move a bar stool into my sunroom so I could drink my coffee in solitude. 5 minutes alone sounds amazing…
Turned around and my Great Pyrenees who was previously laying at the back door had magically teleported beneath my feet.
I’m so bruised…. Messed up. How is this a NSV? I took “monitoring pictures” of my knee this morning and… my tibia is looking sharp, my calf muscles… I just would not hesitate to show someone those reference pictures. Boom, NSV!
And, as the former “fattest person in any room”, while trying to decide if my ribs were broken, seeing if I could still walk, I never once thought of anyone mentioning my weight or struggling to push me around in a wheel chair at the hospital.
I would never discourage anyone from getting medical care, but I have put things off, and put things off because of my weight in the past. Just not holding myself back from going to the doctor /urgent care/ hospital because of my weight is an NSV to me.28 -

Right now! Moving through my morning, I got in my robe, got my coffee and sat down at the computer to log my coffee... and I just noticed that (1) my robe fits all the way around me with no more gaps, and (2) I absent mindedly sat cross legged in my chair - like I used to but haven't been able to do comfortably for a while. And I didn't even notice at first.16

I ran for a full hour yesterday (8.5km) all the while breathing through my nose. Airflow through my nose isn't great, so the fact that I didn't need extra air intake through the mouth makes me feel pretty fit 😀20

That is quite something. I am unable to "run" for more than a few steps, and have been unable to do so since early childhood, so a full hour is beyond impressive to me.I ran for a full hour yesterday (8.5km) all the while breathing through my nose. Airflow through my nose isn't great, so the fact that I didn't need extra air intake through the mouth makes me feel pretty fit 😀

For the first time in my life (I think, I don't really remember childhood), I needed leave a dressing room to get a smaller size because the ones I brought in with me were too big.15

My very unexpected NSV was unwrapping my newer, smaller undies and standing there in utter befuddlement. There were two waistlines.
I could not for the life of me figure out how to put them on.
And then it hit me like a brick….. they’re longer than they are wide.27 -

I was recently diagnosed with Poly Myalgia Rheumatica. I take prednisone to treat it. The PMR had slowed me down so much that I gained a bunch of weight. I am not losing weight right now , but I am not gaining which is a celebration (prednisone's main side effects are weight gain and fluid retention) . The big moment was when my husband told me that he is so proud of me for remaining on anti inflammatory keto diet and recording all my food, exercising and taking the best possible care of my health16
