I'm a volunteer spam zapper and I managed to get them all as soon as I noticed, there were 4 or 5 profiles and well over 200 posts and it took me nearly 2 hours.
This is the first time in a long time the forum had been hit so aggressively but luckily I'm in the UK so spotted them early and staff have now banned the profiles.
I did notice that some of the posts had been read numerous times but not reported, there used to be a trigger that if a post received a number of reports it would be automatically zapped but if people don't report them they're not going to disappear.

I didn’t realize they had a volunteer zapper role. Used to be you had to be a full moderator to be able to zap spam, which of course requires much more time commitment.

As you said there were pages and pages of this disgusting stuff and I wouldn’t expect people to click into each post so they each get five spam flags and automatically zapped. With that level of volume, not to mention morally questionable content, we should understand that members who know how the spam trigger works wouldn’t spam flag each of them one by one. That’s not a solution to rely on at all, in my opinion.

Two hours from a volunteer?! Wow, thank you for your time and effort, but seriously, MFP?!! 😳
