SW: 300 lbs
GW: 180 lbs
April Goal: 188 lbs
4/1: 194.4 (up slightly from last week low of 192)
4/8: 191.6
**I update whenever I lose
Sorry about being MIA on here all April so far. My parents are coming for a visit (they arrive today) and it's caused a bunch of stress... and some stress eating. I'm not proud of myself but I'm trying to be honest about how things are going.6 -
SW (feb 26th 2023)- 387lb
March SW- 381lb
April SW- 364lb (-16lb)
April target- 355lb 350lb
1/4- 364lb
2/4- 360.6lb - managed a 2 mile walk today! walked home from church rather than taking an uber!
3/4- 360.6lb- I'm happy with a maintain... I have to remember that I can't lose every day!! I need to accept that!!
4/4- 358.4lb- I am over the moon! I know that the weight will fluctuate so I look forward to being consistently under the 360's BUT this is the first time I've been this low since September of 2022! So far so good!
5/4- 358lb- another steady loss...I'm so happy... maybe I will make it to 350lb before I leave for my vacation after all!
6/4- 357.4lb
7/4- 356lb- So I've decided to change my target again... I know I was weary to set it at 350lb since I only have til the 27th to weigh in at that...but I am over half way there already and I have 20 more days to go! 31lb lost in total, 8lb so far this month, it's crazy!
8/4- 358.4lb nothing happened- just ate super late and I guess my body didn't like that... it'll be gone in a day or 2 i'm sure
9/4- 357.4lb
10/4- 358.4lb- yeah i don't know what's going on, but it's happened before and it went down... not worried too much!
11/4-357.8lb- down a little, waiting for the *whoosh* of a weight loss, it's coming, I know it6 -

04/11-192.8-(Trend Weight 191.8)- Obviously very disappointed but I’m home today, no travel and back on plan. I picked up my taxes yesterday, had a wonderful dinner out on Lake Huron (which looks like the ocean). It snowed like Haites on Saturday, but by Monday it was 70 degrees and very spring-like. I wore my first capris of the season! My son chose Pizza Hut for dinner. We hadn’t had that in a few years as we don’t have it available in most of the cities we go to. All the leftovers went to him for today’s lunch. I’ll be watching my P’s and Q’s as I have a new challenge/goal for myself (listed above) and now I’m already behind on it!

My name is Mary, 65 from Pennsylvania. I'm a RN and work long days. Logging in everyday since I started MFP 5/14/21.
Unfortunately lost my mojo and gained a lot back but not all Thank God! Need to get back on track and focused.
Heaviest weight 255 lbs, twice. :-(
9/14/20-255 lbs
5/14/21-232.2 lbs MFP start date.
4/6/22- 147.6 lbs (107.4 lbs lost) I did NOT have a surgery. Did Keto.
8/1/22- 167.2 lbs
12/1/22-198 lbs
1/1/23- 213.4 lbs
2/1/23- 207.4 lbs
3/1/23- 201 lbs
4/1/23-207.6 lbs
4/2/23-209 lbs. I need to get my head right and be more accountable to myself in this. I need to get back in control and off the carbs again. Back to my lower level of daily carbs and FOCUSED on what is best for me! Not short term enjoyment. Elliptical 150 minutes for 10.11 miles.
4/3/23- 206 lbs. Was really good yesterday, was under my calories & carbs and it shows. I just don't understand why I have to go SO low carb to lose.
4/4/23- 204.8 lbs Can you tell I've been good with keeping my carbs low the last few days? Today looks to be good too!
4/5/23- 204.8 lbs. Stuck to my plan yesterday and today. Turned down a sweet treat that our director of nursing sent to us!
4/6/23- 203.6 lbs What a difference getting my carbs back under control. I wish my body wasn't so darn sensitive to carbs! I can't eat but a few servings of low carb veggies and not eating fruit. It's ridiculous!!!!
4/7/23- 202.8 lbs Well it's working again, the very low carbs. Guess my head is in it again! Elliptical HIIT setting 150 minutes for 10.06 miles, zones 2, 3 & 4.
4/8/23- 202.8 lbs Elliptical HIIT setting 150 minutes for 10.04 miles zones 2, 3 & 4.
4/9/23- 203.6 lbs Elliptical HIIT setting 150 minutes for 10.04 miles zones 2, 3 & 4. Meat & low carb veggies for Easter lunch today but I had a piece of a Dominican Pineapple cake. OMG! Not rich and a whipped cream icing but moist as a Rum cake. So delicious! Worth the calories & Carbs IMO.
4/10/23- 205.8 lbs :-( Oh well.
4/11/23- 206.6 lbs :-(

Hello, I am Amanda, I’m a crazy cat lady from Michigan. I stopped logging and weighing mid February because of health issues and I ended up gaining back about 4 pounds. I worked hard to lose weight last year and don’t want to gain it all back!
My goal for April is to lose those 4 pounds and walking 3 days a week.

😃 Something has clicked in my brain and I am finding it easier to control my cravings and stick to my calorie goal. It might have to do with the warmer, sunnier weather. Next up I need to work on my walking. I’m only getting out twice a week right now.
4/12: 202.5
I am loving this warmer weather! I’ve lived in Michigan my whole life and I have always been so grateful for Spring and Summer and Fall. Winter not so much.4 -

I will be working on that project over the course of many days. I think the uptick is just the “days later fallout” or “hangover”, if you will, from days ago during the holiday and travel. Staying the course and hoping it will start reflecting that soon. The 180’s are pretty angry right now that I left them in the dust.

Happy April! I am a 45 year-old female. I am 5'4" married woman with four kids. Mentally and emotionally, I have been struggling. I had to transition from being a stay-at-home mom/part-time worker to working 50+ hours a week after my husband's disability and subsequent surgery. Feeling the mom/wife guilt as I have not been able to find the balance. My mom had to have a heart procedure and now her condition has lead to her needing to see if she can be a candidate for a lung, and possibly a heart and lung transplant. My dad has mitral valve replacement surgery next week. Physically, I am a two-time cancer survivor, I have Hypothyroidism, Early Menopause, Plantar Fasciitis, and now my hair is starting to fall out. I struggle with planning meals, overindulging in carbs, not finding time to exercise, being consistent, and needing new coping skills. I know I've had a rough time dealing with all of this, but I will keep trying.
April Goals:
☔️Stretch daily

@jm216 - YES! This sunny weather has helped me too! Seeing the green grass, leaves growing, warmth from the sun, and having baby birds on our porch has been amazing for my mental health. I needed some sun to push through my clouds lately. What a wonderful song! It has helped get my morning off to a good start!
@joans1976 - While I am happy to hear that you have finished your radiation treatments (hopefully you are not experiencing any burns), I am sorry that your doctor gave you such an unrealistic weight loss goal - especially after having a hysterectomy and recently going through cancer treatments, which can effect so many things too. I'm kinda glad that you laughed at them. Don't let that number overwhelm you - keep focusing on the small wins and you will get there!
@flutterlosses - You are right - the drop will come! Hang in there for it!
@pamperedlinny - I hope you ended up having a nice or at least decent visit after all the stress of preparing for it. I hope you have a good day today.3 -
Hello, I am Amanda, I’m a crazy cat lady from Michigan.

Winter not so much.
4/13: 202.0
Doing good! Yesterday was a bit of a challenge with the sugar cravings but I made it through. I’ve been having hot flashes (so fun) and I know coffee, chocolate and wine can make them worse. I cannot make it through life without coffee and chocolate!4 -

I had fun using my power washer. My days off are done, so it’s back to work today.
Confession time: logging is not my favorite thing to do. But, I’m at the moment in this journey where I need to log consistently. I’m starting with a goal of today… then tomorrow… baby steps.

04/12-193.2-(Trend Weight 192.0)- It was a good day yesterday. Diet was on point and I got plenty of steps/movement/exercise raking the yard and burning leaves. I will be working on that project over the course of many days. I think the uptick is just the “days later fallout” or “hangover”, if you will, from days ago during the holiday and travel. Staying the course and hoping it will start reflecting that soon. The 180’s are pretty angry right now that I left them in the dust.
04/13-192.2-(Trend Weight 192.5)- Wow, did I ever get hungry last night! Usually the protein in chicken breast holds me over much better than it did last night. I ate an ounce of almonds, a piece of my sugar-free Russell Stover’s chocolate and drank my water. I must save the extra calories and carbs for those situations so I don’t go into a binge. Crisis Averted!

My name is Paula Jones and I am fed up! I am a mother of 3 kids and married to my husband who I’ve been with since September of 2000. I used to be EXTREMELY fit since my time spent serving our country in the US Army. I am now an obese 100% service disabled veteran experiencing a variety of health related issues primarily resulting from my weight and I have finally reached a point where I can’t take it anymore so I am taking a firm stand. I WILL lose and am losing this weight since I started going at my goals hard Feb 9. I have seen favorable results so far with my current strategy which is a combination of Noom, GOLO, and Intermittent Fasting (IF) with revolutionary changes being made to how I eat, what I eat, and why I eat. I weigh myself every day and tape various locations of my body once a week to help hold myself accountable and establish a way to thoroughly measure my progress. I start including physical exercise today and will be going to the gym to start up some cardio at the very least. Let’s do this! Huah!
Goals for April:
Workout cardio at least 3x/week (min 20 min) 🦵🏾🫀🏃🏾♀️
Strength training at least 3x/week
(min 20 min) 🦾🏋🏾
Reduce sugar intake to 6 g/day 🦷👩🏾🍳
Start meditating again more at least every other day for a minimum of 10 min/session 💆🏾♀️🧘🏾♀️
Start weight: 245.2 lbs
Goal weight: 195 lbs
April goal weight: 235.2 lbs
February end weight: 258.2 lbs (6 lbs lost)
March end weight: 245.8 lbs (12.4 lbs lost)
April 🪺🌳💐🌞🌧️
1 - 245.2 lbs
2 - 247.4 lbs 😱 😵💫
3 - 249.3 lbs 👺😵 I turn this around IMMEDIATELY. I’ve been steady losing. Time to tighten up. May have another increase before I see a decrease, but I won’t try to tell the future.
4 - DNW 😫
5 - DNW 😰🫣
6 - 248.0 lbs 😢
7 - 241.2 lbs 🤔
8 - 244.2 lbs 🤯😱🤔 What the HECK is going on!? I wonder if the issue is my not being as consistent with the time of day that I weigh myself. I was being diligent with weighing myself pretty immediately after I wake up at 0430.
9 - 247.4 lbs 😖😤😳
10 - 246.2 lbs 😏
11 - DNW
12 - 248.0 lbs 🥺🤬
13 - 248.2 lbs 🥺😢😩😓 OK I have had enough!! I am about to head to the gym. I realize my weight tomorrow may be higher due to post workout inflammation, water retention, etc like I have seen in the past, but it settles out in the end and I will in general see a decline. I will have compassion for myself and continue to do other things to track my progress like tape all the various spots on me that I tape. I CAN do this! I WILL do this! I BELIEVE!! I am also considering HIGHLY dropping down to two meals a day instead of three so I can better maintain my eating and fasting hours of my intermittent fasting schedule. IF is where I have historically seen the greatest results. I am ALSO trying to do mindful eating —which makes me drag out how long it takes to eat so I can better acknowledge when I have hit my satiety point, but that causes me to go outside my eating hours during dinner. Dropping to two meals a day may also allow me to work towards dropping my eating hours for a more effective fasting capability. Trial and error we’ll see what happens.😶🌫️ I am trying to find a combo that will work well enough I can maintain this as a way of life past my weight loss period/regime. 😥6
