    Sauerkraut is a super food!

I can do kimchi and occasionally homemade sauerkraut but that stuff they sell in the bag looks like tripe and don’t get me started on tripe

Guess I’m not familiar with tripe - do tell

Cow stomach. It’s white and spongy & if you squint it looks like sauerkraut

Do you mean that you refuse to follow that thought out to its logical conclusion or do you mean that you are holding two contradictory ideas at the same time? Asking for a friend

OR do you mean you’re behaving in ways that go against your own moral code?

Tell your friend it is the former. Much more obstinacy than contradictory.

I’m glad you have a friend!

My friend says that sounds stressful & they hope you get some peace soon.

And I still can't attach a pic here from my phone - app or website - only from my computer. What a hassle. (Not that I was going to attach a picture of a loud eater...)

Yesss, loud eaters are awful 😣

My ex MIL ate dinner at the assisted living yesterday, afterwards she couldn’t breathe right.
Ambulance came, took her to ER.
ER doc decided she should be put on a respirator.
Before that could happen they realized she actually had a piece of meat stuck in her throat that had been choking her.
They removed the obstruction and she was breathing fine but the ER Dr sent her to ICU and put her on the respirator anyway.
My ex found out, talked to a nurse when he went up there, she quietly told him that she had no idea why she was put on a respirator.
Btw, by the time he got up there an hour later they had taken her off of it.
    surprise, surprise
That ER doctor screwed up and I think my ex wants him to pay the price. 😬
Ex is out of his mind angry.

He should be angry. The ER doctor messed up badly. Being put on a respirator is serious. He could have put her on an oxygen tank just to make sure she was getting enough oxygen and monitored closely for a couple of hours.
