Looking to join and be accountable on reaching my goal ideal weight. Will start my logs on food, water intake again as I am sodium sensitive and part of reason for weight increase. I noticed the weight increase begin to elevate my pain daily due to edema in legs. If I can keep that sodium to less the daily recommended amount, the pain decreases and my legs are not swollen.
Hope to learn more and have a buddy. Thank you and wish luck for everyone on their journey.6 -

After 4 days of out of town guests, eating at or a bit above TDEE every day and missing my structured exercise routines, I feared seeing a gain when I stepped on the scale this week. I was shocked to have lost any amount at all. It felt pretty good to get back on track after our guests went home. I thought that it might be difficult to get back to eating at a deficit but it really wasn't. I find that to be pretty encouraging.
Have a great week!5 -

Thanks for sharing your journeys
My update, is I'm adding extra protein, first to my morning coffee it's collagen then to my smoothies Hemp Hearts and powdered pumpkin seed. It is a noticeable difference with higher energy and less hunger. I’ve also pre-measured chia, bran, flax, protein powder, & dry peanut butter. This will make mixing my smoothies easier.
Best wishes
💞 Karen

07/04-195.4-(Trend Weight: 197.2)- BBQ today so I will likely eat out of plan. I’ll watch quantity. I’ve already made some SF Jello with SF whipped cream so I’ll be okay on the dessert front. However, I WILL be adding some festive red & blue sprinkles on top!
07/11-197.8-(Trend Weight: 196.6)- I traveled yesterday so this is not likely a true weight. It reflects quite an overnight jump. My trendweight shows that I have been doing pretty good this week. Now it’s back to basics and get this number back down. Much of it is likely water retention weight.

Good news to share! In mid June, due to stress at work and poor eating, my weight went up to 207. That was shocking. After school let off, and we went on our beautiful trip out of the country, and were active, relaxed and ate rather healthy (splitting entrees sometimes), my weight is currently 200 lbs. My goals is by the end of the month, I will be below 200 lbs. and hopefully 197 lbs. We have been exercising and eating fruit and yogurt for 3.5 weeks for breakfast and with that simple change, I think I am saving calories. Also, all of the the walks, bike rides and swimming we've been doing helps, too.

I was very excited to see over a pound lost this week. The only change I made was to take a recovery day off from exercising. Seems counterintuitive but I suspect I need 1-2 recovery days per week.
Another 1.2 lbs and I'll be within 10 lbs of goal!
Have a great week!4 -

Intermittent Fasting, is working for me. I’m now not as hungry between meals or at night (when I would blow my diet) the hunger pains are only for a moment. 👍
