    I just did the first 50 and my abs are yelling at me.. Should be an interesting weekend.

    Off to couch to 5K - bringing the kids to the rec field.. all shall play..

    Motivation: Just adopted a 4 year old and I want to be as active with him as possible. Don' t think my marriage is going to work out and you never know what turn is next in life. I may not be ready but I want to look and feel great when it comes.

    OK - confession time..

    I joined the challenge on Weds and then fell apart.. I have done 0 crunches so far..

    By my calculation I owe you all 600 crunches by Monday.. it is the weekend, so I can do this.. off to crunch..

    Yes, you can do it! I know the feeling since I'm behind several days worth too... but it will all be worth it when they are done.

    I'm getting help from hubby now. Since I can only really do three at a time before falling back on the floor (I'm THAT out of shape), it helps me when he counts... I've even made it up to five at a time.

    Hopefully I get a little bit better at these as the month progresses, otherwise it's going to be a long 3100 crunches.

    I thought I had put my name into your challenge.but it didnt register for some reason.I only joined My Fitness pal 9 days ago so I am a bit behind but will attempt to catch up. My starting weight was 209 My current weight is 204 I am aiming for 187 my online name is porkyrees.:drinker:

    Well I went to the gym yesterday and got my cardio in and when I was going to bed that night I realized I totally spaced and didn't do my situps. So I have to do Sat and Sun today. YUK!! :cry:

    I have been so lazy this last week tht I had to do all my sit ups tonight! I got in 500. This is why I gave up on the 200 sit up challenge. I think I like this 100 a day but I might do more. :flowerforyou:

    I know today is check in day, so I am posting to say I did all my crunches Friday-today! (I have to get them done first thing in the morning to get them over with!)

    Start weight: 138.2
    Today's weight: 133.4
    Goal weight: 125

    I also have lost two inches off my waist, two inches off my hips, and one inch off my neck since I started MFP on March 1st! Hooray!

    starting monday 3/16/09..........
    on top of 100 crunches-sit ups a day we all need to include a minimum of a 1 mile walk a day 5 days a week, AND 1 arm AND 1 leg weight training exercise 3 days a week
    example: mon-fri 1 mile walk
    mon,wed,fri 1 arm weight exercise
    tue,thur,sat 1 leg weight exercise


    Well i will be avail all day until 330pm hope to hear from you guys.

  • Well, I started full speed ahead, but by the week end, "fell off the wagon" so to speak. I did get some walking in, but unfortunately not my situps..:ohwell: . What made it harder, a friend came to visit, and well, we had all the foods I shouldn't eat.....need to make up...so, including today, I need to do 300 situps, plus the "extra" challange. Wish me luck....need the moral support!! :wink:

    Happy Monday it is a bran new wekk as I watch the snow come down....yes you read this right....Snow welcome to Edmonton Alberta.....

    Okay since Thursday March 12, 2009 I have completed 400 situps not including today right???? I will be taking measurements tomorrow....hope you all have a great week and keep the MOMENTUM Going!!!! Good Luck to all!!

    I only have 200 situps (thurs and fri) done so that means I'm 200 behind (sat and sun not done). Plus what I have to do today. It's so hard to get these done at home. I do better when I go to the gym. And I have to go bowling tonight so I won't be going to the gym tonight. Bummer!!! So I will have to try and get these situps done at home tonight. Wish me luck!!

    I fully understand what you mean. I started off with a bang and this weekend if fizzled out for me. Have to climb back up on to that bumpy wagon. Good Luck!! :wink:

    Sadly, I ran out of time. I thought I had today for todays check in, but re-reading the first page, I now realize it is Thurs - Sun for Mon check in..

    So, I have to report a measily.. 150 sit ups.. 50 on Sat, and 100 on Sun..

    I'm still play catch-up from 3/11, and took off yesterday, so I am down 125 since the challenge started last week, but I'm determined I will be caught up by Thursday check-in.
