In feb of 2016 I had a heart attack in July of 2016 (4.5 months later) I stood on the top step of the podium for an intermediate (1mi/22mi/6.2mi) triathlon. Surgery and the pandemic sidelined me in 2020 and I haven't run since. I want to swim/bike/run again. And I want that podium.11

What is motivating me right now is to maintain my weight at 105. I used to weigh 244 almost 5 years ago. I'm healthy and motivated to stay that way. I can keep up with my husband and walk my pup without wanting to quit.14

@Ernest_Nigma "That would signal a real trend and not something temporary".
This happened to me today! Unfortunately I have gained one pound....but I am STILL in the Overweight category. Definitely out of the Obese category forever as it would take quite a large increase in calories and sharp decrease in activity to go back up. In other words, I have reached a new level of lifestyle. I have tweaked my calories and daily exercise as I adjust to continually improving.9 -

My mini-goal is to go adventure riding on my motorcycle. Being in shape is sort of key to not hurting myself and being stronger, more agile on the bike, in the dirt. Wish me luck...11

I guess my first goal is to begin tracking everyday, even if it's a bad day.
Then the second would be testing my blood sugar everyday.
I'd say 10 days for each then add testing and try to keep within my calorie goals.8 -
